I work at a senior retirement home and I made them for my residents that live there. I made a tag to go inside with a sentiment on it. I will try and get a picture of some of them and post it on my face book I’m a part of the shadydabbydodah group. I’m going to pass them out during my next on call rotation .

Thank you for this great idea. I always had difficulty with chevron pattern papers and never knew what to do with them. They look fantastic with the wood paper or embossed paper bird houses. Thanks for showing us how to make a cute bird house with the envelopes. 🌸

when i try to make these, i always tear the envelope side and i can’t get it straight :(.

How about using a ruler to get a more precise cut on the end ofenvelope? If your sides tear too deep down sides, fold over a strip of washi tape. Hope this is helpful. 😊😊😊

I loved the wood grain paper south that I made some similar. Mine arent embossed, but that's alright ! Now I have an idea of how and where to use them. 😅 I agree with your opinion of the prototype. Its ok, but the current ones are so much more actrive !!!

Paper I don't know if the phone checks out sometimes you need to lightly Spritz your paper so it doesn't crack I don't mean get it wet I mean give it one Spritz of water because sometimes if your papers I don't know if this is working sometimes when you need to do your embossing you need to Spritz your paper with water one Spritz

Yes, lightly misting the paper before running it through the embossing works well.

Get some dishes or a shoe box or get rid of the candle on the coffee cup and get a tray to put your tools on and get something to put your clothes in and organize your space and then you will have a much better time crafting instead of having to look for everything each time I think that is what most people's problem is
