I can't wait to see your progress on this project. I use Good Notes for my cross stitch and I love it, highly recommend it. You might also look into buying a Beadsmith Sticky Bead Mat, the beads would stick to the mat and the mat sticks to the acrylic so they are closer to where you are stitching. Have a great week!

I hear ya! Seed beads can be quite hard on the eyes! I have to make sure I take breaks when I work with them.

Looks interesting. Not sold yet but getting there. Would a floor stand to hold the acrylic sheet make it easier? That way you could use two hands.

I’m not sure if it’s the same company but for those that are in the US you can try Etsy shop BeadsPainting for beaded cross stitch kits. Their set up and pictures look the same and their customer service is great.

Yeah I was shocked to see all the beaded cross stitch stores disappear :( When I saw you unbox the kit, I picked up my aliexpress kit and wanted to look for more. I'd be interested in the taobao shops. I found superbuy to be helpful when ordering from taobao. Taobao blocked Germany completely on their site and make sellers think it's illegal to sell to us. I don't know why. The taobao service tells me all the items I want are illegal in Europe xD I even sent them a plain t-shirt as an example for what I can't order and they said it must be illegal, too *facepalm*

Taobao is really weird. They told me plastic beads were illegal in Australia and cancelled my order. I use Superbuy as well and it's been great when resolving some of these issues.

I have a partial beaded cross stitch from this company. Nice ribbon type ‘canvas’, excellent bead quality, terrible customer service. I ran out of 4 of my 9 colours when I was less than 1/2 done. They sent me 20 of each colour and insisted I was wrong and already had enough. I ended up having to buy the beads online :( Edit to add: the company was apparently bought out last year, and the new people did contact me about the issue I’d had.

They stopped making the beaded kits like we brought and changed them to 9ct Aida printed canvas with plastic beads, NOT the same, nowhere near as good as outer original ones. I got the peacock and flower one after seeing your one.

Cralopix I think it was a cost thing, glass beads more expensive to make and ship. Yes I’m so glad I got mine when I did.😀
