Intel hasn't officially announced the 8th gen processor for the XPS 15 (35watt TDP Version) yet. So Dell is simply waiting for the new CPUs from Intel ... Maybe, we see the new model in march.

LaPoSa Coil whine is very difficult and expensive problem to solve as it requires a complete redesign of the internals.

Jacob Lanning Classic. But I just bought the HP Spectre 13 and a j5create hub that powers the laptop and connects to ethernet, a monitor, and USB-A devices with one connection. I still have two open thunderbolt ports with this arrangement. I have come around to the move to USB-C.
