You know what I miss? I miss when protecting the border and not letting in almost everyone was just seen as good policy - not some "right wing" or "alt right" policy. Borders exist for a reason - so we can protect our citizens, which applies across the political spectrum. Imagine you cannot tell a terrorist they cannot come into your country? Seriously? Why have borders? Why don't we just import all of ISIS while we are at it? I know I'm being rhetorical, but because it's dangerous to just let everyone in. This isn't the 1950s where where people were coming to Canada for a fresh start from war-torn Europe (like my grandparents did).
