@@maxweinbach3996 the point is . As the premiere is stating , people believe in the system, go to school, but the cost is astronomical, and with the liberal mentality of education equals status people have to keep going to school. Even a phd has lost value because everyone is getting them. There is no specialization. And as a result people are buried in debt. The only alternative is work in a trade and earn a living. But primary schools , many parents do not teach their children this. If a person doesn't have the foundational skill or an inside track working for a family business. School or the military is the only domains available to them . Retail jobs many young people had when I was growing up are gone thanks to online shopping. So it's the zero sum game that makes our society unstable. Politically how can a person survive if the governments raise taxes constantly and people aren't allowed to find their footing they are kept off balance financially. And how can they afford homes if prices for them never stabilize . They can't . This isn't a matter of work hard and you will prosper. I and all people work hard. I was illustrating in all of my comments here how the videos speakers doctor Peterson and the premiere are pointing out what needs fixing . And that when that is fixed people will be able to prosper not just survive. As it is the Canadians hate their prime minister he has loused things up so badly. He's a tyrant who attempts to control free speech even. Bill c 16 which is despicable and then his overall job has left Canadas economy in the crapper.

I take issue with this blanket statement. Do you want your Dr's, dentists, Nurses, engineers, architects to just skip a degree education? I think the reduction in what I call the silly liberal degrees that lead nowhere is needed. But many professions need education. Now the flooding of international students, they take things like hospitality without any business courses, and Muslim men take degrees in gender studies to do what? Many odd unnecessary course of studies that lead nowhere. So we need to invest in high school career counselling, directing them towards real choices that lead to a stable life vs them being flabbergasted that being a cashier at Walmart isn't leading them anywhere...demanding 20.00 a hr to ring up groceries. So the international students earn Canada money, doesn't mean we are obligated to keep them all as permanent residents, keep the ones who took degrees we need in our country! Send the rest back home to better their home.

5:24 That's the whole point: they don't WANT you to have kids. Not only will they make it more expensive to have them, but they will make society as hostile to ordinary childhood as possible. A good example being the drug dens springing up in every wooded area around the country. It used to be a weekend ritual for me and my friends to venture into the woods and build a fort. Nowdays the woods are riddled with junkie encampments and needles. The whole point is to make this an unattractive society in which to build a family.

The biggest issue with education is that we were all told the same thing - look at the 90s and it was go into tech. But how many jobs were there out there? They only need so many workers and they tend to value experience more than anything else. Wasn't uncommon to hear "come back when you have experience " for an entry level job but then to also hear you are over qualified for other jobs so the more education you had, the worse off it could be. The trades are always needed and should have been pushed more then and now.

We have the highest unemployment rate and Danielle is asking for more migrants than what the federal government is recommending Alberta take. It’s impossible to find a place to live and extremely expensive with no signs of housing and rent stagnating let alone going down. Alberta’s storm is brewing given that our population growth is unsustainable and Danielle has not stopped the “Alberta is calling” campaign and has also taken caps off of things like insurance, utilities etc which is part of the reason why Calgary has the highest cost on living in Canada. We also have the most underfunded school system in Canada, Danielle is a hypocrite. She is part of the problem.
