So you actually inspired me to do this challenge myself, and I figured out that as a conservationist you can click on plants and select “analyze data” or “collect data” once they finish, a book or a thumb drive is in your sims inventory and you can sell these for good amounts of money! There’s also an option to donate it, but I ain’t doing that in a rags to riches challenge. 😂

The option to break up is now under the “Relationship” menu; select “Relationship” and then “Change Relationship”. Also, have you tried Ravasheen’s “Piz-za Heaven Instant Delivery” mod? It’s a very small mod that allows sims to order pizza directly to their personal inventory - and avoids having to deal with the buggy base game pizza delivery service. They also have a similar mod for ordering cakes.
