The dude in Subway probably didn't know that dogs aren't allowed in restaurants under FDA regulations until he was told by his manager or someone else. If a food inspector walked in there while you were there with Scarboro, they would have received a citation and other possible violations. So it's not a Subway thing, but it is actual law (exception made for service dogs).

Yep. I doubt she would see this but that's the thing. Either he didn't care enough, felt like being nice assuming this wouldn't be an everyday thing, or just didn't know. Having scarboro in your arm near the food( things get past that shield) is dangerous for people with allergies and unsanitary. I get it that he was rude at the end but he was just following the rules trying to earn some money. Also, MOST restaurants don't allow animals( other than service). why are you so shocked?

Everywhere that serves food that I've ever been to doesn't allow dogs. The only exception is if you eat outside and leave the dog behind to order (like a starbucks). L.A. is just weird.

actually is a law unless the animal is a service animal they are not aloud in any food places for sanitary reasons the guy may have been new or idk maybe he didn't know and was told for next time so don't be mad at subway because ALL food places have that policy

I hate when ppl bring animals (other than service animals) into a food establishment. That's so unsanitary. Leave the dog at home. Maybe dude was making an exception and got in trouble or had a big boss watching at the time or something. And now I need to look up scriptina font to find out what it is.

I'm from Eastern Europe and I've been to NYC 6 times. I do believe the city is giving back what you put in. I've met the nicest people there and strangers are always trying to help me even when I'm not in need of help. And I do believe it is normal for the cities to be different. It is interesting to see how Lilly who is always so rational and positive cannot put more positivity towards the city that I assume will be her home.

I am never taking my puppy, Fawn, to NYC based on what you said about people being aggressive towards him like that bc my puppy will not grow anymore, she is full-grown, and she's 3 1/2 lbs. I was in New York for the first time last week, and for food we found a canteen/buffet style restaurant near us called Bread n Butter. We had it twice cause it was so good and not too expensive. Lilly you should try it next time!!
