Sleeping in the same room is one of the safest feelings you can have while you sleep growing up. I loved it.
@aidalopez6072 жыл бұрын
I agree, that's one of the reasons my husband and I agreed to have our daughter sleep in the same room with us because we were protecting her. We had her at 43 years old, (both my husband and I), so one can understand how we felt being afraid someone was going to take her from her room. She is 12 yrs old now and decided to go to her own room when she was 11 years old. She decided she was ready. We miss it so much.

Ditto in Australia. In fact I'd say its far more common than people let on. It's somehow, bizarrely considered to be 'failed parenting' or some other crackpot idea, so people often don't mention it. I loved those nights with those tiny sleepy heads. Or I'd call out in the early morning when I could hear them awake "HUGGY TIME!" and they'd charge into our room, dive in and snuggle down until the alarm went off. I missed that when they grew up!

I should also say that past fee days has been wonderful as he slept in our bed...probably as a Christmas gift. 🎄 feeling blessed! I don't want any of our kids to feel scared or alone so it's fine. I try to get them to sleep with me but it doesn't always work out they prefer their lavendar room! I just let it be. Also, each bedroom is a different temperature as well as different bed cushion comfort. Our ons can be too soft for me sometimes with mattress topper. There are many different options. Couch is also pleasant for a change of comfort it's super firm!

So the children were in the same room and often same bed depending on nursing needs. It was helpful for my husband to pick one child up put him close to me for feedings. They were in the same room with us until the age of 2, because that’s what worked best for us. Also our bed was always open for a child that might get frightened in the night, sick or just needed special attention. I think it’s a wonderful thing, it builds a stronger sense of comfort and security. I applaud you👏🏽. Make sure you get rest, a good aid in producing quality milk is 1. Rest when the baby rest! 2. Drink water every time you nurse. 3. Nuts have a hand full throughout the day, rich in protein easy to store and freshness. Beautiful family, Gods blessings to you and your family 😘💐

You are living your life on your own terms. That’s what life should be. I am a grandmother and when our kids were babies they slept with us. We always had a family bed till they were comfortable on their own. My children have done the same with their children. For us we believe it gave our babies a secure feeling. Much Love and Prayers for your beautiful family. Saying Hi from S.E. Florida, U.S.A. ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼

Thank you Wat, Lilly. I am leaving for the island of Phuket in the first week of March never to leave, Thailand. I already have my little villa, not in the tourist area, which is what I wanted. My dream is actually going to come through, my heart bursts with joy and excitement. I don't know how this works, exactly, but I would like to have contact with your family there. Assume you get my email when I send this? Anyway, Lilly, thank you for finally a channel with everyday life!!! :) That is the information we need. Continue to grow, and good fortune to your beautiful family. Tony☺🙏🙏🌞

Enjoyed watching this video, amazing to see you guys enjoying the rainy season and just staying at home. We also have the same sleeping setup, altogether with the kids in one room, my husband and I plus 3 kids. Watching here from Philippines!

I love listening to the rain, it's so relaxing.......I live in the US, my sons had their own rooms, but during the first 2 years of their lives they slept in my bed. Keep doing what works for your family, you are great parents!

I'm 36 and share a bed with my mum when I go back to visit. Mainly because there's nowhere else to sleep but it's actually really nice curling up in bed and chatting

My hairdresser for many years was from Cambodia and he is the one that first told me about the family bed. He explained the kids all just leave it when they want to. No big deal. I like the idea. This was a great video!!!

I grew up this way and even now that I have lived for 40 years in America, I will never change this practice if I have to start all over again. I definitely support your lifestyle Lilly.

How you sleep is your business it really doesn’t matter what others think. If it works for your family that’s all that matters. 😊

So good to see you, Lily. I know exactly how you are feeling right now, at this stage of your life! You are blessed with such a beautiful family and you will cherish these memories for the rest of your life. I think this was a fantastic video , showing people from around the world how expats living in Thailand spend their days raising two young children and a wee little baby girl. Blessings to you. P.S. your very wise to be eating so healthy. Ward off postpartum depression.. I'm like you ..I spend alot of time on Rumble, UTube, and Bitchute. Keeping informed of global events, etc, etc, etc. Oh and Telegram. Can't wait for your next VIDEO. When my children were your kids age we did the same as far as sleeping arrangements go. I was raised in San Diego, CA and later moved to Redmond, Washington. That's where I raised my two children.

I absolutely enjoyed watching all your blogs especially this home video! I’m 72 years old. Living in Melbourne since 1983. This blog reminded me when I was kid in Malaysia. That’s exactly how we 7 of us slept together in a normal size bedroom. I remember my mum,dad n 3 years old youngest brother slept on a normal double size bed and me with my 4 sisters slept on the wooden floor with the sleeping mat.Although we were not rich but we had happy family’s life together. God bless your family❤️😍
