I grew up in Minnesota, TERRIBLE winters. The first snow is fun, but it gets old and horrible REAL quick. I moved to Texas in highsxhool. Central Texas has regularly been getting snow for a few years, but I empathize with wanting a little and DESPERATELY wishing it were colder out, especially since I love wearing sweaters and beanies You're allowed to want snow and cold while others desperately want heat and sunshine. The grass is always greener on the other side!

I wish it snowed year round. Minnesota is high up on my list of states to move to. I live in Arkansas. It’s swelteringly hot 80% of the time and then ice storms for winter. I hate the south and have no idea why anyone would move to the south.

IRL with the roof slope running down into a wall - you can do it. We can do lots of interesting things - just be glad the roofing in this game is free lol. It is an expensive consideration, but we'd engineer an internal gutter to provide adequate catchment given expected rainfall etc and flashing running up that internal wall to stop water ingress into the structure. The more water we expect the higher the flashing needs to run up the wall - there are prefabricated designs for most common internal gutters, but if we need custom work the pricetag is more significant. In this case we'd probably run the flashing up inside the cladding and we'd argue for a second slope to the roof angled outward to shed water into an external gutter. A note for anyone thinking about the practical design of a roof - internal gutters are simply not as pragmatic as external gutters. External gutters are better at ensuring water doesn't get inside the structure. If an external gutter overflows it runs out over the edge - we can tolerate that. If an internal gutter overflows or leaks at all - we have water damage running through the structure..
