Fun tip! I forgot which one, but one of the more recent game updated tweaked how gallery pack sorting works. If you tick "Show Owned", it will filter out any gallery results that contain packs you do not own. It used to include them!

As a finnish person I always forget saunas are not an everyday thing in other places! In Finland almost every house has one, and we have more saunas than cars!! Also very cool build❤

4:11 As a Finnish person who goes to sauna at least once a weak, the fact that you've never been in one feels so strange to hear.😂 Here in Finland there is a sauna in pretty much every house and even in some apartments. I have a sauna in my 37 m2 rented apartment. To answer your question, yes, saunas can totally have windows. Sometimes, they can be opened for ventilation. I think they help to make especially small saunas feel less claustrophobic. But the window is usually small for privacy, especially because here we go to sauna naked Quick math because suddenly I need to know how many times I've been to sauna😂 I am 20 years old, so 52 weeks times 20 equals 1040. I think it's safe to say that I have gone to sauna about thousand times😅 Edit: Finnish saunas connected to a bathroom usually have the same tile flooring as the bathroom. Tile or concrete makes more sense than wood because of the heat and moisture. The floor is often slightly sloped with a drain. Those small wooden mats at 11:23 are usually plased on the floor of a sauna to protect feet from hot floor.

I'd love to see Kayla try to do a build using the principles of Feng Shui. She'd be able to borrow a book on the subject out of the library, or check a website about it, and we could all learn something as well while she does her build. Though I'm not sure whether the cardinal directions are actually in The Sims, since I never really think about them myself while playing the game.

A guesstimation would be there at least. Just decide which side of the lot is what direction on a compass for the build and go from there. The great thing about The Sims is that you really can just do whatever works best when it comes to those kinds of things.

I think it would be fun to see builds using one expansion, one game pack, and one stuff pack. A random selection could be a fun challenge, but it could also be a good opportunity to show how different packs can compliment each other.

The incense is actually so useful for gameplay! It's great if you don't have those sims 3 reward lamps that change your sims mood because the different scents give them moodlets as well

Spa Day was already on the list of packs I want to buy (I like the idea of it and would love to have a Spa in Oasis Springs) and this just bump it closer to the top of my list. I think this house looks so cool! You say you are not good with modern builds but I think this one turned out great. I can imagine a Landgraab cousin living here. Also I love when you do this sort of builds that make you deep dive into a pack and just unleash your creativity. 😊

I use spa day n my homes all the time, create ether and indoor/outdoor meditation space and dedicated exercise area. I mostly use those items most and at the home. will go to the spa at times. I find that when your sim s stressed I will meditate and when they are angry I'll have them hit the punching bag. If that type of lifestyle resonates with you you will use it all the time. Like I use jungle adventure/city living/paranormal/romantic garden/crystal/glamour/...etc. I don't have many packs just the ones I resonate with in real life. Check some of the simmers let's play to know for sure.

Small tip, Massage chairs are also classified as Living Chairs, so they can pull double duty as normal chairs. The downside is that they take up 6 tiles. Tricky to use, but usable.

Spa Day is one of my favourite packs to use when building. I almost always put a Sauna and spa stuff in any mansion I build along with the gym stuff. The punching bag especially is my favourite in the whole game.

This would be great as a vacation home that you take your sim with their best friends and they have like a home spa weekend getaway. I am always building modern builds and realized I use spa day in almost every build. I like combining spa day with snowy escape because of all the wood. Super fun build! Ill have to place this in my save!

Spa Day is one of my favorite packs, I use it all the time, but never for a spa. The build items in the pack are so versatile, like the window with the wood panels across it I often use as an interior divider wall or the console table is about the width of the beds so I'll use it as one of those fancy over bed tables.

Definitely not always! The home where I grew up doesn't have windows in its sauna and never have had mold problems :) There are ventilators in the roof. (I'm a Finn also)

I use Spa Day with Eco Lifestyle a lot, it pairs so well together. There’s a lot that pairs well with Eco Lifestyle to be fair, but Spa Day in particular has a lot of swatches that look nice with it.

Here's an idea, I think you've done: random pack generator using ONLY 4 packs. But you've gotta incorporate said packs in the build. So say for example you get "cats and dogs, vampires, dine out, country kitchen kit" you could build a country cat/dog restaurant in Forgotten hollow. Although I don't know how that would look 😂. You wouldn't necessarily be stuck with those 4 packs, but you'd have to incorporate those 4 packs to be the main focal point.

YOU'VE NEVER USED A SAUNA? That's very wild to me as a Finnish person but at the same time it makes sense because it's 21C (55F) in Orlando and -21C (6F) in Rovaniemi, Finland where I live. Anyways! Most saunas do have small windows, even the one's in apartments if they are situated so that a window is possible. Also, having a sauna is not only a wealthy people thing, like even a studio apartment could come with a sauna. To top off the sauna experience, you can roll in snow ( I love this) or dip in a hole in ice.
