You could easily work the pegboard in the workshop with like cleaning supplies and tools. You could also put the cube shelves to hold the cross stitch box, candles, knitting supplies, art supplies, and books.

Infants are sooo fun in concept, but the moment you have more than one other sim around it gets so messy LOL It took me almost an hour irl to get my sim's new partner to adopt her son as his own because everyone just kept trying to interact with him, no matter what else I told them to do Truly, I believe a lot of infant bugs would be less bad if the frequency at which sims try to interact with them was reduced. The game warns us if they're not doing well anyway! But when several sims are trying to do something at the same time, or you tell them to feed the infant only for it to also ask for something while that's happening... of course things break!

Don't forget about canning! For example, 1 mushroom, aubergine, faux meat cube, or soybean makes 3-4 Meat Substitutes. This allows you to make multiple meals while still being able to sell most of your harvest.

11:21 I did the same type of thing as you in my save and tried nectar making if you get the nectar storage racks you can have them age to fine nectar and sell them at a yard sale at a high price I got about 50k but I think you have to have a lot in stock and constantly do yard sales.
