I actually really like the don lothario tv! It looks surprisingly good sized down and so do the matching shelves (even if the sized down is finicky). I also love modern houses and already have SO many situations where I know I can use it 😂 so that definitely helps. But simsie is correct the couch and the record player are ELITE

I like the TV and the surrounding part of it, but I wish they were separate items. Similar to what Simsie said, in order to use that TV you need to practically build around it especially since it's obviously designed to fit with the shelves on either side and without them it looks weird. If the screen was separated it'd be so much more usable. Plus if you had the surrounding wood separated then you could use it with other TVs.

I bought my first 3 expansion packs with this sale and I am really enjoying it!! I got seasons (based on your pack recommendations), horse ranch and cottage living(inspired by your off the grid series). I'm not sure if using codes helped to support the channel with these but I used yours :) Seasons makes planting harder with the weather, but I'm loving the holidays that are added for game play. Haven't really tested out horse ranch, but of the three I love cottage living!!

Personally, regarding the regular kits like Kayla’s Comfy Gamer after seeing it took a year to make I’m more than willing to pay 5 dollars for it. Also as someone who doesn’t use CC I had never heard of Myshunosun until the kit which made me interested in checking them out. I think that would be another reason a creator would be willing to make a kit with EA. So I’m good with kits as it’s cheaper than my latte this morning. I like the low commitment as I skip some of the CAS kits as I’m more of a builder. I feel compelled to buy every expansion, game and stuff packs as they change the game. I completely understand why kits won’t be in everyone’s budget just sharing why I enjoy them.

I don't mind kits at all because they're niche things. Similar to what you said, I feel a *need* to have every expansion and game pack because they fundamentally change things or add things. Stuff packs sometimes have gameplay as well. Kits don't have any gameplay anymore and are simply niche items that fit a specific theme. It's good for people that want them, but my issue is how expensive Sims 4 is now.. being about $1400 is absolutely insane. Especially when you see how many of the packs are just everyday life things they decided you're going to pay for in your life simulator.. like seasons or pets.

i like to put mini fridges in sports rooms/gaming rooms and (spoiled) teens rooms and I like to put them next to couches almost like a makeshift side table, with the idea that they can easily get to their beer or mountain dew or whatever without getting up. (not how it actually works in game but for the story) I also like them to save space since you can stack a microwave on top of them!

I think in the context of the crime against humanity that is the sims 3 store, the kits feel much better. Like, you're paying $5USD for a batch of 20+ items as opposed to $5 for ONE item. I also like the flexibility they have with kits. They committed to including gameplay in the $10 stuff packs which is often a great value but it ties them down sometimes with themes and aesthetics. The kits allow them to experiment with trendier styles more quickly and give players new aesthetic options for existing gameplay (new infant stuff, frame tvs, vanities, etc). I think it would feel less scummy if there was more of a balance. They brought back stuff packs and they're better than ever but they're released at a snail's pace and they've completely abandoned game packs (hoping this ages poorly lmao). The kits are a much better solution to giving players diverse aesthetic options than the scammy sims 3 store but I do kinda miss when stuff packs were $20 and came with 80 bajillion items that weren't tied down to ONE gameplay mechanic and a very specific style

The point of kits as well is to allow people to spend $5 if they want that niche. Them being split up is nice because everything in kits you don't *need*. Don't know how I feel about these 2 kits though because they're so heavily themed around 2 townies. The good thing about Sims 3 is that the store was entirely optional. There wasn't much, if any, gameplay involved in it. So they were expensive but you didn't need it. Plus Sims 3 had the color wheel and ability to change anything into whatever material you wanted. Sims 4 has such limiting items then charges for everything. Sims 4 is now like $1400 for all the DLC.. it's getting stupidly expensive. Most of the packs are things that should have been included in the base game too like seasons and pets. They're just normal parts of life.

This is a fantastic build as of recently. You tend to always do the same houses white trims colonial style or Cape cod style.. this was beautiful I love the dark rich tones that you use you don't do this style often because for some reason you're attracted to light pastel colors you know I guess that's the territory that comes with young generation z people. Lol but I love love the dark rich tones it feels cozy and modern while keeping the outside traditional, I wish you would do this more often. Because so many people believe houses on outside have to match the inside and the whole house has to be color coordinated but that's not true, a lot of old houses regardless of the style, get renovated on the inside, more modern. so the juxtaposition between outside and inside is so interesting and beautiful. I wish you would do this more often, break away from your constant use of mundane colonial blue suburbans. This tudor style is fantastic, modern architecture is fantastic Even Victorian, I would love to see you do a Victorian house.

shes not a young gen z, she's actually older gen z. and no, her pastel style is just her. ive noticed the light colours is a millenial thing really. us gen z dont have a particular "style," we all go for different ones. we're big into choosing lots of different styles and kinda pulling away from glomming onto trends, instead having our own styles all happening at the same time. but i have noticed a lot of gen z actually having a rennaissance in old and moody styles. check dark academia. im obsessed. granted, ive grown up in old houses with antique furniture and decor. but ive always described my personal style as "edwardian archaeologist without the artifact theft and colonialism." i guess an official term would be "antique maximalist"

Well, in TS3 they are children together. I have not played much of that game, but I think they are best friends, so the implication is that they are around the same age and probably started dating not long after they were old enough. Doesn’t mean they had to though. Maybe they started dating after college despite being friends since they were kids. As for TS2, obviously Mortimer is an elder while Bella (both Pleasantview and Strangetown Bella) is an adult. I haven’t looked at the time in each lifestage they have, but maybe the alien abduction reset Bella’s age. A theory I have seen thrown out there is that Mortimer used the elixir of life and it backfired aging him up. Instead of down. Considering it backfires when sims are in the red mood wise, what’s more depressing than your beloved wife disappearing, so if he took it right after she vanished he’d probably be in a pretty bad mood. Of course that would make Cassandra an adult when her parents were adults, which seems unlikely unless the elixir is involved.

I clean houses and we have a client that has their only laundry room through their primary (main bedroom) bed, then through their primary bath, and then you hit the laundry room. Another client had the same set up but the laundry room had a second entrance that connected to their kitchen. I’ve see the second entrance and primary bath one a LOT now that I think about it… but the first client I talked about was on the second floor or their 4 bed 2 1/2 bath house.

Even if we never get functional cars, something like a vintage car garage/mid century gas station sort of pack would be kinda neat, I think. Like you could fix up vintage cars and sell them for money or something like that.
