Well, I thought I could play guitar, a bit. But, after listening to Miss Ashfar, I am humbled. Seruously! She is, without a doubt, one of the most wonderful guitarists I have ever, ever, heard! Having now tried to learn this song for several weeks… Good lord, what an insanely talented & skillful guitarist. Transitioning between those punctual chords & the arpeggiated part so seamlessly is incredibly hard, & doing it all while maintaining the tremolo in the background is a whole other plateau of difficulty. I’ve come back to this performance again & again & it never ceases to impress me. Also, just a wonderful song selection. I’ve played guitar since I was pretty young (maybe 13 or 14), but I’m left-handed & learned to play right-handed, so faster & more complex picking patterns which require precision are very, very difficult for me & I never pushed through that hurtle. For a long time I resigned myself to mostly just playing rhythm parts & singing (a lot of folk punk, indie folk, singer-songwriter stuff, ranging from Pat The Bunny’s Ramshackle Glory & Erik Petersen’s Mischief Brew, to Amanda Palmer & Laura Marling, to Elliott Smith & Conor Oberst). But after getting more interested in folk & classical I started working on my fingerstyle playing, & that has opened up a ton of possibilities. For the first time in years, discovering Lily, the people at the Sky Guitar channel, legends like Francisco Tárrega, & some other incredible guitarists & guitar/music theory channels has helped motivate me to push my guitar playing beyond where I had kind of leveled off! Now I’m learning Tárrega’s Study in E Minor, Mozart’s Lacrimosa, I’m going back & learning modes & scales that I never bothered to internalize back in the day, & even pushing myself to practice my picking techniques & try to overcome the disadvantage of picking with my non-dominant hand. It also helps that I finally got my ADD diagnosed & treated, so I’m able to focus on practicing for much longer at a time, but I owe Lily, among many others, for playing so beautifully that it inspires me to want to get to their level. Getting more serious about guitar, more rigorous about practicing & expanding my musical knowledge & my repertoire of techniques has been extraordinarily rewarding. I’m even getting to the point of starting to write some of my own music for the first time. So thank you, Lily! 🙏✌️🔥

Asturias Capricho Arabe Recuerdo de la Alhambra etc temas obligados para los clasicos con una profunda alma de Andalucia y que entra perfectamente al flamenco muy bonito interpretado cada interprete lo ejecuta de una manera Y Lili una mujer guapisima como la mujer Sevillana
