Playing through this game for the first time recently because it was high up on a list of recommended 3DS games, and I gotta say - it's utterly fantastic, far better than I thought it would be. The audio design is excellent, and the witch songs are on another level. Absolutely amazing work. Also want to say, Levia is my favourite of the second songs, though Volt Shower is a very close 2nd - I adore the voice of the woman singing in Levia, gorgeous. The song opening is also fantastic!

Mother of god does this song define OP, it's initial effect isn't as good as To The Sea (just Water damage all), but it replaces the Full Heal continuous effect with completely restoring all, Health/Sp/Status, which is just ridiculous OP. They managed to take To The Sea, which in itself was considered the most powerful Song, and made it even more ridiculously broken, bravo.

personally, i'm at chapter 9, and find that the song Reddened Galaxy is best, unless i'm in a major fix for health. Mainly because I can heal people with lisette's heal when she has sp, you know, and healing everyone over 4 turns like that, personally, I'm so crazy about making sure I'm not in a tight fix level wise that I ridiculously over level my guys (god that was useful in the battle at the end of Ch8) so i'm only actually healing about Maximum 80 health when I do, and even my witches have like 250 HP (tough ring 2 + over levelling) and I'm only on the first battle of level 9 atm

No idea what it all means, but as someone said earlier up in the comments, levia is somethings to do with jealousy. When you do the final tuning, she says that she still wants to be by your side. Is she jealous of those are like in my case Rusty, max affinity and way too op from overlevelling, and afraid that they'll knock her of the 'top spot' and they might win Alto's heart instead?

Each of the ultimate songs are effectively their preceding versions, only with an elemental attack snapped on in the opening turn. Except for Levia, since the healing potency compared to To the Sea in subsequent turns is stronger, to make up for the lack of immediate full restoration.

But the elemental attack--or non-elemental, in Hilda's case--is one of the greatest parts about the second songs. Especially Hilda's, because it hits all enemies, with no HP restoring or reduced damage output. And whatever it doesn't kill, it stops. Another reason why Hilda is the greatest of the Witches

Levia is way better than To the Sea, it not only restores HP but SP as well for the continued effect, whereas To the Sea is SP and HP on use, HP every subsequent turn. So I don't see how it's redundant.

+GameMasterKyro easy . the cost can be one thing but thats only if you for some reason don't have allegro up. pretty much the final boss can cancel out your song on her turn and you can't get hilda to speed up lissette turn then there is a chance she will cancel it out before HP and sp come back . besides by the time to the sea wears off you still have enoght sp for another attack . Truth be told if the final bosses didn't inflict so much damage I would use blazing light. volt shower . dark labyrinth and fiery night more cause they are more epic

Google Meister in my opinion, anyone except Sakuya, since her song is quite underrated. It buff crit stat but only for 1 attack, while other witches have either sustain or status effect
