Just finished this fight today, man that was hard, I accidentally made Xeno follow me at the beginning of the battle and ended up surrounding him, that mistake was indeed a great help even if I strived the entire battle.

Mordimort is one of very important member to beat Xeno for me, because I keep spamming her stone doll skill so Xeno only attack that stone doll other than any member. Because of that I can get both special conditions at the same time

Yeah, his skills are ridiculous. He has a lot of range, targets low level allies probably 2-3 shotting them, 4 guardians on every corner of the map which you can't run from Xeno, and deals a lot of damage

I was lucky enough to beat him first try, but I won't deny I was at the verge of death many times. So for me the hardest boss was the last one, that really took me like 2 days to beat, many retries

Xeno was a hard but exhilirating boss fight. He was always one of my top characters so I was devestated when he betrayed us. I like how this theme has drawbacks to other sounds in this game. If I remember correctly, they use the battle theme in here as well. I like how Xeno is a tie-in from everything since the beginning and to the end. He was definitely a well made tragic villain.

Am.. I the only one who didn't struggle with this boss..? Like, yeah, it was challenging- but I never found myself having to start over.. I don't even remember anyone specifically dying just because I was leveled up enough

Inabasa I came back to this game after four years and played NG and I was probably around level 37-39 with rusty, Nonoka, alto, Lisette, Popo, Hilda, and alto I just split my team in two and cornering Xeno was actually pretty easy just time consuming I just had to be careful not to aggro xeno I took it slow and beat all the calamities the second time and even though rusty had to retreat I won pretty easily Though the second time in NG+ I moved Popo too hastily and xeno attacked so even though I had more levels I struggled a lot more :(
