In my first 24 hours in Lima, I arrived at night, checked into my Airbnb, and got a good night’s rest. The next morning, I set out early for a peaceful walk along the cliffside, taking in the ocean views. After a coffee stop, I visited the famous *Parque del Amor**, followed by a stroll through the popular **Larcomar* mall. To top off the day, I indulged in delicious *ceviche* and a classic *pisco sour* at **Punto Azul**, a must-visit restaurant.

Prime season in Lima Peru is from December to March. I was there December. Best weather in the world even better than Medellin weather.

Walking around San Isidro you will discover some nice bars and restaurants. Not far from the Olivar Park or the golf course. Just like Miraflores you will find a lot of hidden gems in these neighborhoods.

No se aprovechó, son los precios que necesita cobrar porque paga altos costos de alquiler, personal bilingüe que no es barato, entre otros gastos agregados, hay que comprender; el que puede que pague y el que no, tiene otras opciones donde puede comer muy rico también; podemos recomendarle a nuestros turistas restaurantes en otros lugares más económicos. No hay que hacer quedar mal a nuestros compatriotas con fundamentos negativos, en todas partes del mundo la comida en ciertas zonas es más cara, igual pasa en Perú.

Top neighborhood is some parts of Surco, La Planicie- La Molina, La Encantada- Chorrillos.... Miraflores is tourist level, Barranco is a hipster- artsy place, San isidro is a crowded building mini wallstreet. Those 3 are not the top 3 NHoods. There are a lot of afro-peruvian, but we just call them peruvians, you know, because that's what we all are. This was a nice, relaxing, nice vibes video. Like

I would agree that Barranco, Miraflores and San Isidro are the top 3 neighborhoods for tourists. La Encantada, La Planicie, La Rinconada, Las Casuarinas are suburbs where the wealthy live. Nothing to see.

There are far more wealthy people in Barranco, Miraflores and San Isidro than anywhere else in Peru. Those other neighborhoods are just famous due to TV.

Just be careful exposing your cellphone, usually in motorcycle, Miraflores is one of the safest places in Lima but still take precautions.

Hi bro, you picked a very expensive place to eat. It's not a bad place, but it's not what we would eat everyday. Lima is actually a very cheap place to have great food, you just need someone to show you the good spots around town. Hope you can taste more food like criolla, amazónica and even some chifa. I think that guy at punto Azul got you on that "special". That was really pricey. When I went there I ate really good for like 13 dollars. i generally agree that dining out isn't the cheapest there, but there are ways to save.

En el Perú tenemos un dicho popular que alude a la mezcla de sangres entre negros, asiáticos, indígenas y blancos. "el que no tiene de inga tiene de mandinga". Tiene un poco más del 10% de su población negra o afroperuana. Otro punto es que comiste en un lugar caro para turistas, pregunta por otros mucho más económicos donde comerás tan bien como en Punto Azul; en otros restaurantes podrías haber comido lo mismo por menos de 10 dólares. Punto Azul is a good spot. I would just keep it simple and have the classic or mixto ceviche that is under 50 soles. You will save 30 soles and eat just as much. They always offer that special that is overpriced in my opinion. But, everything else is around US $15.
