Just giving my opinion about circles representing analgesia(bigger circle) and anesthesia (smaller circle), this representation will mean that anesthesia will become just a subset of analgesia which is not true because analgesia is the one that is a subset of a greater anesthesia that includes not only loss of pain sensation but other sensation such as prorioption and even loss of motor function. And such sensations will not be loss in analgesia represented in a greater circle. That's why it's better to represent anesthesia in greater circle in a middle intersecting other smaller circles (representing analgesia, proprioception, motor, etc.)
