Victor can you get a pain management expert as it remains a big concern. Also it would be really great if you can talk about the future of pain management including nerve cooling and other new developments.

Hmmm interesting. I should be able to. It really depends if they'd be interested in interviewing

Thanks for another great video Victor! One thing I would love for you to talk about is the risks associated with having to get so many X-rays done while undergoing limb lengthening. Recent studies show that men who have had at least three X-rays below the waist have a 59 percent increase in the likelihood of them developing testicular cancer. From the doctors I’ve spoken to, you will need X-rays every two weeks for three months plus an X-ray before the surgery which amounts to a total of 7 X-rays below the waist in a very short period of time. Personally, I’m not too concerned with the limb lengthening component but rather, the increased risks of getting testicular cancer during one’s lifetime from so many X-rays below the waist. What are your thoughts on this?

I'd have to have on a radiologist or some other imaging expert to give really good info on that. I know that EOS is more efficient than other forms so it depends on what that particular LL center has available

What is that boot stretching device Brett used called? Does anyone know where I could get one?
@Cyborg4Life Жыл бұрын
Night splint to prevent an equinus contracture or ballerina foot. Some clinics provide them as part of the surgery

hi cyborg and LLers. if u do both femur/tibia what do you think is good for both? Will you increase by ratio or just 1/2 length on each part? ie. if u wanna increase 10cm overall, will you lengthen proportionally to your original length ratio of tibia:femur or straightforward 5cm on each femur/tibia ?
@Cyborg4Life Жыл бұрын
I think 6cm femurs and 4cm tibias is great. best overall and maintains good proportions if you have a good average ratio to begin with

wait he wants to get ANOTHER 4x4cm quadrilateral surgery!?!?!
@motivationinspiration5794 Жыл бұрын
Yeah cause he didn’t lengthen them to the full amount on femur but to extend the tibias more is crazy cause it’s over the safe limit
@Sora-o Жыл бұрын
@@motivationinspiration5794 yea but he lengthened 8 cm meaning he should be around 6ft now... anything more than 8cm starts to look disproportionate too.
@gj9157 Жыл бұрын
Paley has a package deal that consists of quadrilateral lengthening, wait a year, and then go again for a total of 16 cms.
