Louis was SO good at making it challenging for each of them without making it impossible. It's not like he had preset places on the wall where he put the sticks. He tailored it each individual climber. That was awesome! One of the best ones I've seen yet. Thanks for making supper fun videos that inspire the rest of us to get off KZbin and go out and climb!

Someone make a product of these sticks with a screw in the end, so you can just screw those into the t-nuts on the wall.
@andreasauer79376 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't be too smart as the sticks will break if you fall on the them
@imagzz49426 жыл бұрын
Perhaps some kind of rubber stick. Or maybe with a suction cup on one end instead of the screw. That way it would just fall off if you fell. I actually really like this idea :D Or perhaps even a mix, to make it an actual product. A rubber stick with a suction cup on one end. The rubber would have to be stiff enough to be almost straight, but it would still certainly be softer than some tough wood. I think it's a great idea for sure!!
@andreasauer79376 жыл бұрын
iMagZ z Yes, that would work out!!! nice thinking :D

I've seen this getting played with a kids group where they used long straws that fit into the t-nuts holes.
@rufulustigatan66886 жыл бұрын
iMagZ z or attach the stick to the screw with some kind of magnet that is barely strong enough to hold the stick :)

This would be much more entertaining if the sticks actually were CGI'd to look like lasers. That would really give it the sense of danger this new sport needs.

Hey :) Can anyone recommend a great bouldering mat for my first mat if I will likely be bouldering alone most of the time? (Preferably not too expensive)
@BoulderingBobat6 жыл бұрын
We would probably recommend a Snap Wrap (we sell them at the arch, quite heavy but big and totally awesome!), Other pads that are similar probably a Black Dimond Mondo or a Moon Saturn. I also rate the Ocun pads! The dominator is a really nice :) My first ever pad was a super cheap Alpkit pad that I bought about 6 years ago (you can no longer get them that cheap). It was good but I never trusted it for anything high. Its now very thin and is just about usable as a secondary pad. So what I'm saying is if you can spend a bit more and get something that will last longer and give you more confidence. If not get a cheap one like Alpkit, ClimbX or Grivel (all not amazing imo) but its better to just get out there! You can then always fork out for something more substantial in the future. Last thing! Be careful bouldering outdoor on your own for the first time maybe try and stick to traverses and lower problems at first. I always get over excited when talking about gear! Hope I didn't rant tooo much and some of that was useful. Keep climbing and I hope you have some awesome adventures on the real rock! Tom
