She's actually insane for soloing. I just did the entirety of MD2 Hard solo with her, and even without having the tree fully maxed, only the bull at the end gave me any semblance of trouble. She's just so tanky, even just her guard is at minimum 5% of her HP+15 which is quite sizeable and allows you to basically not even clash against bull and just guard most of its damage while punching it into submission

Heh, I love how you did this fight. Initially you can barely get a hit in edgewise because Dongbaek keeps wrecking your SP with Sinking while boosting her own to hit way harder (which is kind of BS, because Heathcliff’s Sunshower doesn’t have positive coins while Dongbaek does). But then she completely sinks her whole strategy (ba dum tss) with the Sink It All at 1:38; the crippling SP loss from that plus a few bad rolls lets Rodion get back her SP, turn the tables, snowball just like she was before, and completely wreck her with the Sinking counts she conveniently set up.

I do really like Rodion a lot as a ID as she does self fuel her Rim Shank to make up for not having many sinking coins. But yeah her S3 can be kinda nuts. I would like to say, you can select her defensive skill and not use it to hide skills from being eaten if you are trying to keep insight high.

@@Smis1337 Yeah I was testing it for the review I normally do, when IDs comes out. Pretty much bubbles them so not effected by discard. so your skills will try discarding other skills in different slots. You can also do it with EGO but its kinda redundant, when you can just defend.

@@DonQuixoteSupport It still doesn't cycle the skill though, so its still there, just doesn't mess up your Insight. When testing I pretty much was "bubbling" any S1 I wasn't using, to keep the insight at 3 for the turn. Its interesting as it adds another layer to picking what skills to use on the dashboard.

discard: remove a random unused skill from your skill slots. The criteria for what gets discarded depends on character and skills. Yi Sang discards his lowest ranking skills first with all of his skills and guard, while rodya's defend discards the highest ranking ones first and the attack skills the lowest ranking ones first. This allows faster cycling through the character's skills insight: has no effect by itself. It's a way to see what rank the last discarded skill was. If it says 1, you discarded a skill 1, 2 means skill 2 and 3 means skill 3. When her skills get discarded she gets [(Insight number)*X]% max hp shield. The X depends on the skill rank.

You just need to discard a skill 3. Insight just shows the rank of the last skill discarded.
