I think it's important to add to anyone watching this for the first time, that Shaaanxo has dropped her support of Lime Crime. Although remorseful because clearly she does like the product, she has decided to drop the company because of the shady activity and doesn't support the way Lime Crime has handled the situations the company has faced. IMO, Doe Deere needs to be destroyed.

I remember when I was little only red variants of nail polish were socially acceptable when I hit around 10ish Blues and Greens became really popular but only for younger kids now all colors of the rainbow are accepted so maybe it will be that way for lips in the future. I also remember the glitter boom where very highly concentrated forms of glitter make up were popular and you could typically only find it in drug stores always sold out only like two brands now almost every brand has a form of glitter lips/eyes/ nails. Things are always changing and evolving.

I agree. I love nail art & have about every color of polish imaginable. I also love lipstick, and am starting to get more adventurous as far as the colors I wear. I have black, and recently got some of the NYX Wicked Lippies. As a schoolteacher I can't wear them to work, but why not have fun when I'm out & about? :-)

I used to love those lipsticks too until I found out about the copying scandal with them and that they just repackage products and sell them as their own. So now these products aren't anymore in my collection.

Search for "Lime Crime Repackaging on google and you will find a lot more blogposts from people, that analyzed the lime crime lipsticks und compared them with the other company. Additional to that, Lime Crimes laywers have been on a hunt for a bad reviews and sent mails out to bloggers, telling them they made a crime for giving bad reviews of Lime Crime lipsticks and forced them to post a official sorry on there blogs. So they cut down free opinions of customers by making them afraid of justice. I hope my sentences make any sense, because English is not my mother tounge :)

I think it's odd that women are so fast to critique a growing brand run by a rather ingenious and creative lady, but they don't do the same for larger companies. Especially in regards to big label make up, these issues are rampant, but much less discussed. And as I recall, though 2010 was quite a while ago it seems, the CEO herself made a video in response to these allegations. I myself heard and researched both sides before deciding to give my business to Lime Crime.
