I think this would look great in my bedroom on the fireplace. I can’t wait to start the sample board. Thank you so much for sharing your great technique. Love everything I’ve bought from you.

Tuning in from Arizona and thank you for this! I've been trying to recreate faux limestone forever. And failed forever. But my ONE desire is to be able to realistically mimic cast iron with chalk paint. I *know* it's possible. In my gut, I just know it. Not just the rusty, aged cast iron. (Although, that too!) But the look of solid, well-done cast iron. The texture, the sheen... all of it.

Would this work on an actual piece of concrete? I want to make a one piece bathroom sink countertop and I want the concrete to look like limestone. Also, as a sink, would the paint hold up to water? Thanks.

Is this something you could use on an outdoor table top or is it too granular - like for a table you'd eat on.

I like it, but you would have done better with less sand. Too much makes it look like a finish, less gives texture that you can add too over time.
