Fun fact: the “lava” is the pus leaking from a wound of the traveller inflicted by the witness. Hence why you get a “poison” debuff from it rather than a burning debuff. Learnt this in a recent video from Byf :)

Good riddance... this strike is hard enough without them. Tizzle is top tier, and he was playing it safe. Me and my fireteam are planning to go in this GM tonight... now I get to put my spirit of Assassin + Star-Eater class item build to the test.

I really appreciate the realness of this video. Getting kind of tired of the “how you can easily beat…” videos. I’ve attempted it 3 times now with 3 different teams, spending almost 2 hours on the last attempt. The fact you did it in a little over 30 minutes and with muted randoms gives me hope.

This GM is not so annoying solo, I had fun doing it ,its just new and something fresh But the Corrupted GM to me is by far the most annoying of them all hands down.

Since I love being the healer, I went full Speaker's Sight build and it carried my two Hunter clanmates hard. Cleared on third try, so it was actually quite fun. It never felt unnecessarily tedious nor overwhelmingly unfair, especially, which kept the fun going.

Yea this solo would be really hard. Particularly the maze section. However, I do wonder if you have to do both sides, because when you go through the campaign solo, even on legendary, I do believe the game only makes you do one side. As far as how they can make the game harder, I think you'll just see them continuing to do what they're doing with the vex. Adding Teleporting to Wyverns is an example. I've died more in expert BGs than any GM this season do to those things. I say they'll just keep doing that with more enemies.

For the last room for each phase, you can kill all the ads before taking on the boss or dunking the Taken balls. Gives you a little breathing room

yep, def worth waiting...boss also infinitely spawns 3 thralls once all ads are dead too, so if you need to make ammo or get your super back/transcendence, you can farm them for a few mins

Ignition chaining makes short work of almost every section except for the part where you go up since the adds are pretty spread out and will never reach the shrieker.

So has anyone else noticed some of the yellow bar subjugators in various activities, including this one, have CC immunity but like only some of the time? They aren't boss level mobs, but they can't be chain CC'd like say, the Tormentor in Lake of Shadows. THey'll sometimes get frozen or blinded. And they'll sometimes ignore it. Anyone figured out the pattern there?

I was doing fallen saber and got yeeted right at the boss room right onto the boss stand which is electrified and the boss is there half the time invulnerable. It was an adventure but we got the kill and I did get rezzed.

Man, the fact that the game allows you to spawn in environmental hazards is so dumb. I mean, sure its nothing new but that doesn't mean it isn't dumb. Unrelated note: Acolyte eyes on that rising Lava early on its just cruel. What was that? Three sets? Glad I know about that in advance!

That's the big deal with GMs like this and Corrupted (even now, it's still one of the longer ones). It's tedious farming these ones. Very interesting for the first few clears but once it gets time to farm it's just too long to enjoy
