Chibi I implore you to do a reread/review of Pandora Hearts because, like you said, it's an amazing manga series!!!! This is probably the ONLY manga I have read in full that caught my interest from the very first page and didn't let go. The way Jun writes his characters is beyond me, because each and every one of them has a REASON that makes sense for him (or her) being a part of a tale.

Actually, there are 12 omnibus and 24 volumes in the box. So each of those books contains 2 volumes in it.

It's a great series still worth the watch, but they would have to completely redo the series now in order to continue it since they decided to go anime original at the end. I guess you could still make it work as a continuation, but still. Regardless, I really wish we would get the entire series animated one day. The series also has one of my favorite anime soundtracks of all time.

I already owned all of the series when the box set came out. I still ended uo buying it, because it's just such a piece of art, and since PH is my #1 favorite manga series, i couldn't pass the chance to buy something like this for it. ^_^

Don't buy it, the books have come to everyone damaged, and the chest damages which almost everyone has (this video doesn't have it on the outside) are created during the manufacture itself. Look in to it a bit, look at the pictures and videos of anyone else's copy. In this case, look at the right edge of the book at 8:21. It seems minute through this video, but IT IS NOT. I bet that the weak visibility of it is such only because of the recording setup, not because the damages are actually minute and there's nothing much to be seen, like this video makes it seem. It's physical damage, all of the books have it on the vast majority of the item's reproduction. It's because of faulty design(the books scrape and scratch against one another's covers while in the chest as movement is applied to the chest).. And yes, it's baffling how no one else is saying anything about this. Perhaps because next-to-none of those who've bought this are actually consuming it but are just having it collect dust, so thus the thing's never been given the attention needed to deduce it's not just dirt. But hey, the other girl on youtube who has made a video of unboxing this thing as well commented how the books are "dirty". She certainly has realised by now that it is physical damage and not just dirt, but she's not said anything about it, at least not yet. She did though not pull out the books out of the chest in her very own "unboxing" video, so the possibility is high that she never did even afterwards..

9:21 For people who didn't understood. Pandora Hearts has 24 volumes, and it's around the same size. It just that they combined 2 into 1 for this Pandora Box set so each volume ended up being twice as long. I prefer this though cause they put the cover art work with no words covering it up like before, plus it fits the whole clock moving at the back too since 24 is now 12 and there's 12 inside the clock, while also making it feel like an actual book in terms of sizes but with pictures. Lol XD

Yen Press, you really out done yourselves with this Manga Box Set. It's so beautiful, I'm gushing because it's so good! The box looked like a chest, the 12 volumes look like books, the illustrations are magnificent, and the clock moving in the back was so unique. I don't watch a lot of unboxing vids but I love this one Chibi. Aki also did an unboxing video about Pandora Hearts with rhyming, but I think yours take the cake. I like Aki though. It didn't get discontinued. The manga story finished naturally as far as I know.

The anime didn't really get discontinued though either. That's not really how you describe it. A lot of anime are only a small part of the source material. Most won't get a full adaptation, so that's why many choose to go with an anime original ending. Many series unfortunately just end up being there as sort of a teaser for the original source material. It was planned beforehand to just get the 20 something episodes, and unless it became popular enough, that was going to be it. It wasn't a longer planned episode count that got cut short as far as I know. Then that would be a form of being discontinued.

The anime itself is not that bad but compared to the source material it would be nice if they properly adapt it. Though I said "discontinued" I dont want them to continue but prefer remake since the last 3 ep. is original. I just dont know the right word and use this word without thinking much

The closest we got of a romance between them would be Jack x Lacie. Oz and Echo on the other hand clearly had a romance going on even though echo didn't react much to it at first. Also, i remember the author saying echo and oz would have ended together if 'THAT' at the end of the manga didn't happen.

Thank you for your unboxing video review of the Pandora Box. It really helped to decide whether if I should continue to purchase the manga series one at a time or if I should get the series all at once in its entirety so that I could finally read the whole complete story instead of reading it at a slow pace one volume at a time. I've finally got my Pandora Box from Rightstuf recently. It came to me in perfect condition with not a single dent on the box. The books inside were also in pretty good condition too. The paper quality of these manga omnibus are just a good as my vizbig Rurouni Kenshin omnibus collection. Either way I'm very happy with my Pandora Box. I'm currently reading the series; So far I'm on the third omnibus. It's proving to be very interesting although I feel just as confused as Oz about what's really going on but I think that I'll eventually get my questions answered as I go further.

Pandora Hearts Manga series Review: After I got my Pandora box at around the start of the new year Jan 2018; I immediately started reading the whole series. Oh man, nothing prepared me for this. It was one hell of emotional roller coaster ride and I loved it even with all of the tears and heartache it caused me have. I think that if I had read this manga series years earlier before I read Fullmetal Alchemist; It probably would've my #1 favorite manga of all times instead of Fullmetal Alchemist. I could tell that Jun Mochizuki put alot of thought and love into Pandora Heart to create this fantastic bittersweet tale. I hope that one day that there will be an anime remake or continuation of Pandora Hearts. In conclusion the Pandora box is more than worth it. I have no doubt that I'll be re-reading this series again.

Even with all the complains of damages, and the fact that my own set came with a crushed corner and the mysterious white marks...I cannot be upset. On right stuf at least, this box set costs less than buying the entire set of "ordinary" manga. And it's bound with sewn signatures, not just glue.

I think right now the normal range is $280-400+ usd by resellers. i paid about 290 for mine for bids in an auction on ebay after books-a-million told me it was out of stock completely.
