My first handgun was one of these little SS Rugers (non-engraved) circa 1972. Traded it for an acoustic guitar. Have regretted ever since.

Bobby Tyler is definitely a master of his craft. And modest, too. Here, he's related to the late, great Grand Ole Opry star, Cousin Minnie Pearl, and he never breathed a word of it. So, how'd I learn about the Minnie Pearl connection? I spied the tag on his hat. ;^)

A lot of us Ruger collectors will never be able to own the original, and quite a few of us won't be able to buy one of these either. We can hardly keep up with all the other revolvers Ruger is producing. Beautiful revolver by all means but out of reach for most of us.

This model is made using a stainless steel grip frame. I own a non-engraved model of this handgun. It's made exactly the same. They made 150 of the non-engraved ones for Lipsey's. They are special. Got mine from Buds gun shop.com.

Never been a fan of Ruger or Taurus 'wheel' (revolver) guns. Smith & Wesson, Dan Wesson, even some Charter Arms 'wheel' guns, I've tended to keep a lot longer.

It's a pretty pistol for sure.But don't make it sound like it's a Collectors item to fill the void for the ,Real Deal . It's just an engraved pistol and thats it. And at $2,500.00 it's priced way too high.
