The cooldown is bugged as for some reason, units that do damage and boost can’t be cooldown boosted because of a bug. It’s the same as rockstar, popstar, etc.

I think shiny stardrop is the best range booster (unless you are one of like the 5 people with shiny pickles) because his DPS is pretty good and 5% range (pickles has 75% and shiny stardrop has 70%) isn't that much i dont think you need that much and the damage makes up for it. the slowing JOP (Jar of Pickles) does is 50% and you already probably have frostbite or OMK. hi im editing this comment bc i dont want to make 3 comments but i think you wouldn't want moon or sun on your team if you had to replace omc, omk, astral, or any dual booster bc if it was a duel booster, 54% more dps on every unit is better than 75% more on just stardrop. if it is an apex, omc and astral are essential and omk is to good. you would get a stun, but stuns aren't really needed. idk maybe i will test it but you really wouldn't want sun but if you had a worse team, (for example: eclipse ballora, shiny plushtrap, blighted endo bonnie, nightmarrionne, and scraptrap) you could replace something for moon.

I saved 2 million coins for it and i got four with no shiny, so i will sell my extra for souls and buy presents for a shiny and if i cant get a shiny (I can prob get 1 more myself and 4-5 from souls so i might get 9-10 presents out of 25 to meet odds for shiny) i will probably trade my pickels and adds (depending on the value of shiny stardrop) and thats how i will get it. i have the worst luck and my only coin exclusive shiny is mafia freddy which is 1k. my new year's wish is to get a good shiny (in value or good for teams) in 2025.
