Thanks Miriam! I always rely on observation when it comes to shadows. There are many times when shadows have a lot of warm reflected light in them on sunny days.

Thanks! The Charvin doesn't seem to be very heavily pigmented. I prefer a bit more punch.

@@Dennis-Hare I like Winsor & Newton titanium white. Gamblin and Utrecht are good too but there seems to be less oil separation with W&N. Maybe I'll try Rembrandt next.
