I absolutely love how Mikoto is tuned here, they really do sound like a princess! And the cutesy aesthetic and instrumental made the glitchy/dark bit throw me in for a loop, fantastic Edit: forgot that the twins are genderless--corrected that
I can’t believe this song hasn’t reached a million views yet… it’s been one of my favorites since I stumbled across it two years ago. But I know I’ll be here to celebrate when it does reach that many!!
this song is so good and well put together im surprised it doesn't have hundreds of thousands of views, very very underrated

I have made a rough English translation below! I combined my basic knowledge of the language with an online translator (DeepL) by translating both the full sentences and individual phrases/words to try to decipher the meaning. It most likely won't be 100% accurate, but I hope any English speakers out there are helped by this translation! Mikoto: Are you scared? You have no idea what your future holds, do you? Not this path, or that path either. Oh dear, where am I going? I’ve been wandering back and forth aimlessly. I don’t want to fall into a dream-world. I much prefer my schedule planned out by the second. Hime: Flying, jumping, and bouncing as you please! Oh, you cute little thing! I slip through the waves of a blade and dance on my own. Mikoto: I can’t seem to take my eyes off of you. You’re the only thing on my mind. That seems like so much fun! I’m jealous! Hey, what can you see from all the way up there? I can’t stop wanting you. An invitation to Wonderland! Hime: Come on, let’s go where the compass* leads! I can’t wait for the tea party! Mikoto: But I can’t stay with you forever. Even when you promised to be here (Hime: Not yet), you’re not (Hime: Still?). That freedom you have, I love it. Hime: I want to snap its wings… Mikoto: And lock it away. Hime: Why aren’t you afraid yet In the middle of a blank future? If I were to stretch my hand out to you… Both: It wouldn’t reach. Mikoto: So, that is why I hate you this strongly. Why won’t the compass* hold still? (Hime: Come on) Look here. (Hime: Come now.) Your friends are waiting for you, too. I don’t have much time left. No one can save me now. Bring glory to the future the compass* points to! (* This kanji [針] can mean sewing needle, compass pointer, or clock hand. I assume since this is Alice in Wonderland themed, the double meaning of both a clock hand and a compass needle is intended here.)

Thanks! I appreciate it.I want to set this translation as a subtitle for a video,Is that OK?
@alicered41983 жыл бұрын
@@kisalaundry Yes, of course! Thank you very much!
shouldnt 行けばいいの be translated to "where can i go" or "where should i go" due to the -ばいい?
@alicered41983 жыл бұрын
@@forestofsecrets7273 I could have done that, but I was under the impression the expression worked for both and that there isn't necessarily that clear of a distinction. I'm not 100% sure though.
