This direct replacement for under hood? Do i need add on or plug n play? I heard the retro group 30 fits right in. Looking to replace primary agm battery. I have 2017 f150 big 3, stock alt 200 or 240 amp , smart 3k and sundown 10004 amps. Give me all the information im new to mixing batteries and audio

so can i use this as a starting battery. i got a agm under the hood and i got a cyber 6k in the rear and a 25ah limitless. im just curious what would happen if i let the truck sit for couple of days

I got 2 370 amp alts... Would I have overcharge issues? Meaning would the alternators charge the lithium to 14.8 when I'm not putting load on them?

That depends what your ECM set point voltage is or if it’s externally regulated what that set point is. Just don’t go over 14.8

I have 2 retro 30s and they rest at 12.8v now , is this normal? Or are they shot? 1.5 yr old 😢

Yes they were charged and installed. But now my alternator will no longer charge higher then 13.4v. Is theyre anyway to test the retro 30s to see if one or both are bad?​@skyhighcaraudio

@@skyhighcaraudio Question i have a V1 Limitless lithium cyber 12k an looking to purchase the retro 56 to replace my xs 34 under hood now with the retro56 an cyber 12k (V1) will it be enough for a Crescendo 17k(on 2 fi 18s) + mids an high amp with 2 js 390 amp alternators or do i need dual 56s under hood or the retro 30 for extra support 🤔 what like an experts opinion?

on a 370 amp alt the battery charges very fast im talking seconds. ive got the battery with dual runs of oversized 0 gauge, thats feeding my bass 12k taramps at .5 ohms puthing a little over 7.5 watts. amps turned down for my subs lol.

I have an 04 dodge ram. Retro 30 upfront, retro 56 and blue 45 in the rear with a JS 320 alternator with a CPU bypass..my voltage still drops. At 2k rpm. At 12.9 sometimes.Just wondering if my alternator might be too small? I’m running a taramps 12 K at one ohm with 4- ZVX 18s.

@@Burgerdog75where and how are you grounded. I had the same issue until I took my alt ground off the frame and put it directly to the neg on the battery.. idk why the hell that worked but it did

@@a-team65 now I have the retro 30 up front. 3 retro 56’s in the rear. A JS 400 and Js 320alt up front 3chassi grounds and one dedicated from alts up front to rear. Hardly any voltage drop now.
