So many people are unaware of why inflation happens, the dangers of the Fed and fractional reserve banking, or even what fiat currency actually is. I love 'The Money Speech' by Francisco D'Anconia in 'Atlas Shrugged'. That got me thinking about what money represents - and why it is so important to protect it from those who would devalue it. To respond to the question at 24:01 , imagine going back in time 150+ years and trying to explain what we use as currency today to a banker back then. If you could explain it (doubtful) they'd think that we are all mad for allowing it! Central planners know that the secret to public acquiescence is to use the same principle as boiling a frog.

UBI will be the precursor to roll out of the CBDC. if enough people are stuck on the government teet, then the use of a CBDC as a method of distributing it will be an easy sell.

Until the public can open accounts at Federal Reserve Banks, only Banks can create dollars that the market can use as money; The Fed does not. The Austrian Business Cycle Theory remains irrefutable, but The Federal Reserve should not be cited as a resource when they have an axe to grind. Please research the real processes and structure of the Federal Reserve. It's a lot more complex than many realize.
