Great clip brother , walking with Jesus is the only way , I was a refugee from the age of 10 to 14 1991 war , we were only served food once a day , cried every day of hunger but always prayed to God , grew up hunting with pops as a child 4 times a month , and now I get to take him hunting with me , elk is on my bucket list hopefully one day , God bless you guys always and keep it up

Interesting. I kind of thought the opposite myself. I just want to watch hunting and not have to listen to someone preach to me. Mind you I am not very religious in the traditional sense. I do believe in a greater power beyond just ourselves on this planet. I am very scientifically minded though. After spending thousands of hours learning about the cosmos and physics of the universe, to me things like quantum physics, particle physics, sub atomic particles etc. are far more incredible and impressive to ponder than the ancient scriptures about a man chosen by god.... I guess My version of God is the unknown powers of the universe that we haven't even begun to truly understand. I respect those that follow certain religions (not all religions if you know what I am getting at) ... and I respect the fact that our western world was built on Christianity. I just cannot get along with the scriptures and text. I went to a catholic school growing up and I was questioning things the whole time and would more or less be told to stop and accept God. I do think having your morals influenced by religion can be very valuable though, and I understand that side of things. Its a bit funny because I am a fairly staunch conservative in most of my thinking, but religion is the one thing I just can't quite go along with. The amount of flat earth garbage and insane conspiracies I see pushed by people on the conservative/religious side gets frustrating. I want to think conservatives are the more logical and intelligent ones, and for the most part I believe they are ... but sometimes I hear stuff that I just have to shake my head at. That said, if it comes down to choosing a world that this modern left wants to create, or a world guided by the morality of Christianity, I will take Christianity all day long... I know tons of the hunting community is religious and I hear quite a bit of preaching in videos... It's not that it really bothers me, I guess its just not what I am lookin for when watching hunting videos is all. Take care, good luck this season.

boys, i`m at 2:38 and stopped for a min., i`m 70, the old footage i remember seein as a very young man dreamin of doin and being in those places rushed back to me, thank you. at 30-33 i was a guide in the bob of montana so some of those dreams came true for me, and with the business my dad had i was able to run the mnts. from arizona thru canada and into alaska cause of the travelin, very humble travelin but still got me there. and havin been a skydivin instructor the plane in brings memories too, ok, just wanted to tell ya where your 2:30 took me already. you`ll understand when ya get here :) . ok, on with the hunt. nice boys nice!

I don't know why I'm supposed to be telling this to you but maybe it's required I'm 56 bin what you call a mountain man for years elk hunting is my passion trapping deer hunting killed lots but recently realized what the Israelites were doing so was I when they made there statues and idols and worshiped god to God is holy and a jealous god the Bible is the truth I we need to remember there is no more animal sacrifice anymore Jesus took that for us but the animals he puts here are for us to eat so we kind of sacrifice that as are meat but when we decide to mount and hang are heads on display that becomes are God's and are idols we now took Jesus off are wall and worship heads and horns we are not of this world we are supposed to live like Jesus and if he came back today we can't tell him well there just heads and horns only when I had mine I would boast about them proud of them couldn't wait for people to see them but that was a terrible sin and could make a nother Christian sin just saying I sold all my elk horns and heads and tithed off them i still elk hunt and hunt but horns get put in a place where i use as projects or giveaway because they become are gods and idols i know you have alot of money in these videos and animals remember dont store up treasures on earth that is where your heart is life with jesus is more important then staying here love your videos though dont know why i was suppossed to tell you but here it is and i see you are biblically sound so you know people now days justify things that are wrong right because god gets us in the end god is holy and just and we need not to twist the words of the bible are way to make it fit live for jesus be holy as jesus is holy have no gods or idols in your life amen

Great hunt. I'm 68 now and have stayed in shape so that I could still do back country hunts solo. But this past season I started to realize that it would be very difficult to pack a bull out from some of the places I was hunting. The adversity is still an important part of the hunt for me but I don't think my aging hips can take 5 loads out of the steeps for even a 6 mile round trip. Gonna need to find some young bucks into this type of hunt that don't mind taking the old guy with them, lol.

Can't remember if I've commented before on your videos but got to say that this was one of the best elk/mule deer videos I've seen. You guys are blessed by the good Lord. 38 now and found my way back to Lord with my wife 5 years ago. Living in Ohio (Hunt whitetail alot my entire life) and with parents that hunt as well, I've been blessed to be in Colorado and Idaho hunting through the years. Just praying that I get many more opportunities especially in Idaho. Keep up the great content.
