That's incredible! I love your hunts and messages as always! In 2010, I lost it all...job, home, marriage, etc! During the brush fight at that time, I prayed so intently for God's intervention to correct the situation. What I found in the journey, God was intervening to change and correct me. One focus that kept me fighting to get out of the brush was focusing on Jesus. How many times could he have given in and given up? But he didn't because he was on a mission to get to the cross for us. So, with Jesus guiding my footsteps, I put one foot in front of the other each day and fought to get out of the brush. I thought I'd never get out, but we did.....Jesus and I! There are times I know he carried me! Jesus is my Super Hero!

Im a 17 year old from Maine who wants to move to Alaska once I graduate from college. Just curious, how do you think a 26 Nosler would do in Alaska (on big game besides Grizzlies). I know it has about the same energy as .338 win, but the smaller bullets make me wonder whether it would struggle against Moose, despite the energy.

Can it be done? Definitely. Would I recommend it? No. We always suggest at least a 30 caliber rifle for an Alaskan hunt.

We wear crispis. Generally when we wear gaiters our feet don’t get wet. If they do we either dry them out that night if we can or just keep wearing them. After a day or two and a couple pairs of socks they are generally dry again

I'm thinking you had a better view of him through the scope, than we had through the camera. Otherwise, I can't imagine how you judged the shot, without risking wounding and possibly failing to recover the carcass. In any event, it turned out well for both you and the moose.

@@LimitlessOutdoors the 2nd shot was not even needed with 300 weather by. The 300 rum or 300 magnum all same story. The 300 is very hard hitting round and only slightly smaller then 375 h and h .
