There's this couple standing by the door, arguing about which one has to look after the wean and which one can go boozing. After about 30 seconds of vicious back and forth the argument ended with "Ehm an arsehole? Ehm no the arsehole, you're the arsehole!"

And Limmy might be in a ground floor room with several floors above him before you get to the roof. The voices are clearly coming from a room above - which no doubt would have its own ceiling.
