There's a small platform that sticks out in front of the boat for diving or fishing off of while anchored. The little door is for getting to it. Having a tiny door means not needing to have a constantly open part in the walls of the boat. These boats are typically for families, so it keeps little kids safe, as well as the different stuff you've brought on board for the day from being flung out the boat (they can go faster than you'd probably think). Pontoon boats are really common in the US.

THE WATER LINE IS LOWER THAN THE DOOR. THE DOOR IS AT THE BACK SO NO WAVES WOULD GET IN. IT HAS AN ENGINE, THAT IS HOW IT MOVES. A CAR TOWS IT TO WHEREVER IT NEEDS TO BE. ITS A SINGULAR BOAT. etc etc. fucking hell limmy i know you're daft but fuck me hahahahah
