Amen to that. Wish they had kept this style and sound going longer. This to S.O. was such a drastic night and day change. I called it too back then that Wes would quit within the next album or 2 after S.O. came out and sure nuff...CS&THFW dropped and he was out like a fat kid in dodgeball.

It really is a stunning record. Although it is very different in sound and feel, the second record has to be classed as stunning also (in my opinion).

Real incubus energy real too many people telling you your awesome for your own good! Hard to be honest when you’re surrounded by dishonest people!! Still my most angry because I’m angry at being wronged music!! Can’t help but feel righteous therapeutic anger when you listen.

Fred and Wes mention this tour in a interview with Scuzz tv. Fred said the Faith No More/Mr Bungle fans hated them, because they didn't get what LB was all about until they played "Faith". Then most of the fans "got it".

Dude the Three Dollar Bill songs sound sooo good live. Better than the album. I can’t believe they are from my hometown and I’ve never seen them live. I did get a signed (by Fred) significant other poster because one of my neighbors went to church with his mom and Sam River’s parents lived in the neighborhood next to mine.

No shit prime Mike Patton was insane!! Prime Fred durst was the poster child for feeling betrayed!!! Would’ve been an emotional mindfucj followed by one of the greatest vocal artists ever!! Like tomahawk opening for Tool in ‘02 on the Lateralus tour. Patton flipping off the crowd cause most don’t understand vs. Tool making everybody feel like they’re on acid with just sound.
@Punketalero3 ай бұрын
Did you say Tomahawk? I know Fantômas toured with them and Tool's fans were really confused. Waiting a band playing long songs, opened by a band playing several songs shortee than a minute.

@therootmanprod11 ай бұрын
Faith no more had the idea that they wanted to make music that they thought was weird enough to be appreciated by most but emotional enough to connect with anyone who gave them a real listen. Fred tried to see a formula to success. It’s painful to see a band try to copy the most successful shit they did instead of flipping the middle finger to anyone for the joy of pissing them off. See Korn or incubus went from playing music because they wanted to be honest to doing what they thought other people wanted. Speaking from experience it’s good to have conflict within the band and outside the band. Ego is the reason for success and the only thing that can kill innovation.
