I was at this too... When i was in high school Limp Bizkit was one of my favorite bands and one day my father dismissed me from school early but wouldn't tell me why... we drove for probably 35-40 minutes with me confused and continuously asking where we were going and he wouldn't say anything we parked on Brooklyn Ave. and once i heard the music an saw the croud and Kerri standing on the WAAF van with her purple hair and Fred Durst on the roof i almost sh*t myself "my father broke me out of school for this? Fu**en AWSOME" One of my favorite memories with my father yet he THANKS DAD I LOVE YOU

So true, I lived through it all and 2000 was like a hard cutoff. I do think the internet blowing up and smartphones had something to do with it. MySpace came out. 9/11 and the Bush presidency started a new level of divisiveness we hadn’t quite seen before and it’s been growing exponentially since. Limp Bizkit was so popular and now people consider them a joke. I find that rather ironic considering what a "joke" mainstream music is nowadays. While I was never a big Limp Bizkit fan, I'd happily take '90s music, or even early 2000's music, over today's trash. All that people listen to nowadays is Taylor Swift and bad rap music. Mainstream music has never been worse.
