i have a 2007 lincoln mkx it is over heating i have checked the fuses and good and its using antifreeze as well please help me thank you

I can appreciate you guys... But I ask. Where is the location for a 2008? Lincoln MKZ fuse for cooling fans. Totally Different fuse box...

If the fans dont come on when turning the ac on is it the PCM ?? If the fuse is ok I mean and the fans are new?

You and I are in the same boat. I replaced the fan assembly with a brand new unit 2 days ago. I tested it after installing and everything worked perfectly. Today, the fans only run on the lowest speed and won't turn on high when the ac is turned on. I have a warranty and will be replacing the assembly again in a few days hopefully. I will return once i replace it and let you know how it goes.

@@jhartmac100 I ended up diagnosing it as a failed module. Luckily I had the old fans on hand still and used the old model and everything worked as it should.

@@baileysims the OEM module has 3 prongs. All i keep finding online and at the ford/lincoln dealership are the 2 prong modules. Do you have a 3 prong/wire module and if so where did you fin your replacement. Thanks in advance.

@@meriton1079 are you sure they are 2 prong? There are 2 bigger prongs and one really small prong in the module. If you go to this site here, look at the images of the fan assembly and zoom in on the one that shows the module. They're not suppose to run all the time. They only run when the engine gets a certain temp
