27:44 finally this death scene without the texture glitch! other videos I've seen so far before this had the glitch that makes her corpse looks like a clay. Still eerie and disturbing nonetheless tho lol.

the one ending with Linda shooting Augustine is just the tip of the iceberg. According to the flow-chart in the game there's 16 possible variations of who will show up at the campfire at the end. There's still a couple that I haven't been able to get yet.

So that's kind of the neat (and imo the worst) part about the story: Even if you get Chris back to another universe and stop the film being made, there's just another timeline where it was made. So you can argue that the best ending for this set of characters is that Chris goes back, and then in the case of her being very much not alive, it wouldn't be. Gotta love the multiverse

@@LizEllwood all of this was about frank in the film and the film, no film made mean that universe got seperated from the the game's multiverse which will lead to the best ending that in that universe and the whole multiverse come after it not gonna get trapped by the Entity. Simple explain is they have "future", the other is doomed.

@@NhatNguyen-by3zf Well yes but no, the fact that Augustine had an archive in her mansion shows that she had other versions of the film. The film shown before Frank Stone comes out of the film isn't even the same Frank Stone from that universe, as indicated by Bonnie dying in the film. Imo the best ending is probably all of the characters dying, because while the Entity consuming the realm is inevitable, the only deaths that I believe would enter their souls into the trials was the sacrifice on the hook or getting to the campfire

Yeah its pretty bullshit, all of supermassive's games before had good ending where all survive and the bad guys just die, here the "Best ending" is where you're put into trials for eternity. A REAL good ending in this game is letting all the characters die lmao

imo this has to be the most interesting way the ending plays out. As much as I hate the multiverse crap they pulled, I think Linda being the sole survivor works extremely well amidst all the imperfections. I found Madi to be a dull protagonist and a weak link to the past considering that her mother isn't the Bonnie we know from the 1980 timeline, so Linda taking over made everything feel more tense considering that she had a direct connection to Murder Mill. Sam's sacrifice was an awesome callback to the 1963 timeline (which was the best part of the whole game) and his final line before getting downed by Frank made his demise feel more tragic. I've watched multiple walkthroughs of this game to save myself the 40 bucks and found every ending I encountered to be lackluster except for this one. I still think the game is mid overall with almost none of the choices actually mattering, but if I think of this as the actual ending, then I don't think I dislike it that much.

I wish that was a possibility but if you go towards the path of having Linda shoot Augustine it kinda locks you into not being able to have Frank hooking Linda. It's an either or type of situation, you either have her shoot Augustine or you have her be captured by Frank, sadly there's no doing both during the finale.

what you see is what happened ... Chris went back to the past but not to her past. She went further back in time to the point where they were just starting to make the movie in the game ( like in the chapter after Sam shoots Frank ).

Depends, if the player take to long to enter on the holorium, or you have the pocket mirror ( idk if this can be count, but some people say that this count as a possible too) when Chris return to the past, she will turned inside out

Pretty sure in that run the player had chris keep the pocket mirror, also a lore reason could be because Madi hadn't got any idea how to use the Portal.

Sam needs to fail while trying to save Linda ( don't press L2 & fail the QTE when controlling Sam )... this will cause Linda to pick up the dropped camera. Then just don't press L2 while controlling Linda and fail the QTE when the monster grabs onto her head.

It's a living dimension which can replicate anything it experiences. This dimension, the "Entity" feeds on your hope. Once your world is engulfed by it, you and every possibility of you is also in it. For example, the person at the end of the campfire is Claudette Morel. In her normal timeline, she's kid going to college who got lost in the woods and wound up in the Entity. In another timeline she made it to college and tried out for a Frat and got lost during Greek Week. And in another she was even a celebrity.
