Oh, Linda, I am so with you on looking for things! I just overhauled my house, one room at a time. I spent October going through every drawer, cabinet, closet, bins, "anything that holds anything". I gave things away, donated things and trashed things. Now, I have everything that has its own home and it is always returned to that home. My husband has been on board from the beginning and he just commented today how nice the closet is, and that he can find anything in there. I have no junk drawers and I even have drawers and cabinets that are empty!! I am prepared for Thanksgiving and I can really enjoy the Christmas season. Cleaning my home is so much easier and faster. I am so glad I did this and I will never go back to looking for things again. The key for me was planning how I wanted my home to function, super organization, and putting everything back where it belongs after using it. I love your plates and glasses. May God bless. We saw Glen Campbell at the beginning of his Alzheimer’s journey. It was a very compassionate concert with much endearment as we listened. So glad he preformed as long as he could. Also, we had our gourmet group for dinner and I set up tables in numerous rooms of my house, including our primary bedroom. It was delightful and drink stations in several locations!

Everything looks wonderful Lindsay.. The water, my concern is all that extra plastic in the landfills. I use a Berkey, no more plastic, I fill my Stanley up and ready to head out. I use concentrated lemon, I add one packet in each 24oz I fill. My kidneys are happy. Happy Thanksgiving to you all. 🌿

Same language problem here. I put it on mute and turned on the closed captions. They seem to be in English so far. I’ve never had this problem before either, but I guess I will keep trying to fix it.

I think it’s at her end. If you go to the settings while her channel info is up that’s where you can see the language that can be changed but there’s no English.

Those glass chimneys are beautiful but be careful when using one! The table could easily get bumped and you have glass everywhere! Don't know how to use those to keep them "bump proof", so please be safe!

Update: It's playing for me in English now. Under "Settings", "Audio track" now shows "English (United States) Original". Hello, Lynda and Stewart. The audio is in German for me. I went to the settings icon on the video and it doesn't offer English and/or original language of the speaker as an option. Isn't technology fun! Have a good evening.

Don’t forget your paper plates probably aren’t microwaveable because of the gold edges. I always use paper plates for the dessert as well.

To much busy work, as we get older, best to simplify. We need to work smarter not harder. This helps us all good times more often. Better to set up one big round table for year round readiness. That pretty blue settee would look lovely around a round table or under the sunny window.

Love your home and garden. Thank you for sharing. Have you considered a large mirror over your buffet. In my own home when I have placed large “vintage” mirrors the space has really opened up. Many mirrors I have gotten at consignment. You have been a great inspiration and I have really enjoyed the transformation of the cottage outdoor areas the most. I moved around the same time you did and have been working on my garden but yours is really gorgeous

Glad it wasn’t just me and my TV. I see under the settings for Linda’s video under “audio track” that the languages can be changed. So I tried that but there is no English listed. Thanks for everything you share. If you are not familiar with the Christmas Revels out of Harvard, you must treat yourself, lots readily available thru Google. Also, love that you have discovered J. Peterman (graduate of The College of the Holy Cross, here in Worcester, Mass., I believe) whose catalog has been my go to forever, and I just loved when last spring you showed off the coat I had just gotten but passed off to my daughter who buys nothing, and some of us cannot fit our clothes in the house.
