It's a very personal song for Till. Q: ...how about “Home Sweet Home”? Till: Home sweet Home is reason is…it’s a song about cancer so…it happens in almost every relationship. Everybody knows somebody or is related to or lost people. Everybody is in touch with cancer more or less in these days. Q: Okay. So that’s a pretty serious subject, what inspired you to write about that? Till: My father died of cancer so…it was a thing to tell about.

Till Lindemann had a solo project with Swedish rock musician Peter Tägtgren (Pain). Lindemann wrote the lyrics and Tätgren the music. The first album together was in English. Till wanted to see if he could write in another language. The 2nd album was again in German. Home Sweet Home is his most serious track on the album. It's about cancer. By sweet home he means death. Greetings from Germany.

Some get confused when they see Lindemann vs Till Lindemann...when you just see the name Lindemann that's referring to the group Lindemann which has broken up and are no longer together...when you see the name Till Lindemann that is referring to Till Lindemann's solo Projekt and so far he's only got 3 songs 1. @@SueSueandthewolfman Yup, since the tumor is benign, they might be able to perform US-VAE, a new ultrasound-guided type of excision, which is minimally invasive and could save Floor a lot of post-operative pain & stress.. 🙏🕯

After having read Floor's post again, I think I have to put "benign" into question. She uses the word "cancer" quite deliberately, which by nature implies a malignant tumor. Her message seems to be that the tumor is cancerous (i.e. malignant) but non-aggressive. That would imply a low-grade tumor. Let's wait & hope for the best.
