@Angor31698754 Jack died in the forth season premiere "Castoffs." Laura feels guilty because she was mean to him. Charles ends up bringing their black and white dog Bandit home from Mankato who was a stray and Laura has a difficult time accepting Bandit after what happened to Jack but she does eventually.
