Hey Linds! I never comment but I’m just watching your video and wanted to give my feedback re: your addition. We finished our basement in both our old house and new one now. We set it up as a playroom but also with a TV/couch and my gym stuff. Honestly - my kids always end up bringing the toys back upstairs because that’s where I am the most with cooking/laundry/the bedrooms are upstairs (we have a bungalow). I try to have “downstairs toys” and “upstairs toys” but that never works. I would honestly have a room or space on the main floor for toys/crafts. It’s easier when you’re making dinner, etc. I have a cabinet with all their craft/colouring things on the main floor and then we converted a large closet in one of our entries we don’t use as an entry way to a toy closet and it’s amazing because you can put it away at the end of the day or when you’re having a lot of company. There’s still toys downstairs but I wouldn’t call it a “playroom.” And your parents are totally right - my kids won’t go downstairs unless we are down there lol but they often ask to go down and get upset when I’m doing things upstairs (dinner, etc.) Love your videos as always!

Hi Lindsay! What’s the safest/healthiest oil to cook with? I just bought a bottle of sunflower oil from Costco 😩 It’s so confusing I can’t keep up!

Don’t use that. Coconut oil or chosen brand avocado oil are fine for high temperatures and for low temperature, Olivia oil is fine. I don’t even use canola or vegetable oil in baking. Just avocado oil but only chosen brand at Costco:)
