I have only had two seizures in my life, so not a epileptic. The first one I had a long period of not breathing the colour of my skin turning dark purple through lack of oxygen,the tonic clonic seizure lasting about 13 mins, when I collapsed I landed backwards heavily landing on an overturned chair, breaking my 3 thoracic vertebrae, I’d almost bitten my tongue off, I was battered and bruised and felt like I’d been beaten up. I came around to my kids screaming and crying thinking that I had died. Was really traumatic for them. I was In so much pain in every single cell of my body. My memory had gone, I was unable to string a sentence together, I’d forget what I was talking about, totally knocked off. I can’t imagine what you go through and how scary it must be for you and how horrible you must be feeling. I sympathise with you dear. I’m also a nurse and nursed patients having status epileptics, it is horrible to see. I hope that you manage to find the right treatment plan to help settle things down, I sympathise with you. Awe girl I'm so sorry. I know first hand they do make u very sore. You cry, be mad, get pissed and then get back up. You have 100% survival rate. If they can't seem to find where you are losing it. And have bladder problems look into that.

I am doing much better now! A delay in my seizure meds combined with my dangerously low phosphorus levels lowered my seizure threshold and caused them to happen :/

I thought it could cause brain damage if it's over 5 minutes I do not have epilepsy or any seizure disorder so I'm not completely sure with my disability you can have a seizure disorder as well but I don't have one thankfully

It can, I got lucky, they did a scan as soon as I got to the hospital to make sure I was okay

@@memesissydollar3080 ativan is mainly for when you have a really bad seizure so it basically brings you back to life but it makes you REALLY tired so you’ll be knocked out as soon as you take it so I think she probably does take it at home to help prevent her seizures and to help her sleep but personally when I had multiple full blown seizures I did not have to take it at home I was just on klonopin for three days
