They should since they are an extension of her songs. Since she designs the costumes and videos, they should match the song and the video theme. She dictates and controls all the creativity aspects of her career. She directs the videos, and creates the sets, she does everything, its so that I wouldn't even be surprise if she is the one herself that goes to Starbucks to run the coffee order. She does everything!!!!

Absolutely stunning - so powerful. This has to be my all time new favorite music video of yours! There was so much symbolism and foreshadowing in it. Incredible. Truly inspiring. I suffer with bouts of depression and anxiety and all I can say that I 100% resonate with this video. I particularly loved the part where your dancers come together with you to form a “superweapon” to shoot yourself forward and onwards. I feel like friends and family are like that during difficult times in our lives, we can’t do it alone but together we can do anything. I also love the warrior choreography, and how each one of your dancers including yourself showed what a struggle and battle it is to come out of the darkness. Being lost in the forest and having to claw and climb your way out was another great metaphor for what battling depression feels like on the inside. ❤️ The costumes you designed were also breathtaking and the music you write is so moving it brings me to tears sometimes. You are just EPIC Lindsey. In every sense of the word.

@@victoriatorkelson15 It's not about difficulty per se. I'm sure that other violinists can play Lindsey's stuff. What they can't do is put the heart and the spirit into it like she does. I love classical music, but Lindsey is special. Even the most casual listener can tell the difference, though, between her playing and other people's. Lindsey stands out to me and to millions of other people. I remember a comment on another video of Lindsey's where someone was talking about her technique. There is a difference between playing the notes and playing the music. It's like the violin is directly connected to Lindsey's heart and she allows the music to flow out of and through her and into the atmosphere. I know that sounds silly, but I don't know how else to explain the passion and the beauty that she imbues her playing with.
@carelessdreamer4 жыл бұрын
Miss Priss That’s the reason I love her. Even though she might not be the best violinist in the world, everything she makes is truly unique to her own emotions, making it feel a lot more true. I like classical music on occasion, but the problem is that classical music isn’t usually from the composer. (Maybe also why I don’t like most pop music lol. Lyrics tend to get washed out and seem hollow, possibly because of the studio getting their hands on it.) Lindsey is more independent in her work, and she doesn’t have lyrics in most of her songs anyway.
@plumtucker95145 жыл бұрын
Straight up, I had to stop the video to go nuts in the comments! That crossbow violin is the most beautiful fusion if an instrument I have ever witnessed, and if I use this in any of my works, it will be out of the sincerest homage to such brilliance. I was entranced by this the moment I heard it over the virtual concert, sadly couldn't comment during the wave. but if you're reading lindsey. I'm just a fan, but I'm so proud to have known you since the American idol and to see you now. You are the light and the end of my tunnel. I have been battling my own self worth and fears of failure. During your virtual concert a lot of your words resonated on a level I had never felt before with my family or therapists. A creative to a creative. Thank you for sharing your journey. @fo shizzle I've seen her twice in her concerts and she dances incredibly well while she's playing, she makes a lot of really hard movements that I can't even do without the violin ahaha and she does it at the same time while playing right and it's not playback 'cause you can hear the little mistakes of her notes. So I totally believe in what I see and hear in this video.

She doesn't actually dance and play lol. She dubs the music over her dancing with a violin in her hands. Anyone who actually plays the violin can tell you dancing and playing with a good sound is impossible, and if you look at her in the video her bow strokes don't always even go with what she's playing.
@hedgehogsx23965 жыл бұрын
Dark Circle go watch her video on AGT then come back
@jenellelynn30905 жыл бұрын
Dark Circle lol that’s how literally every music video is made. Go watch a live performance. She really does do this stuff live, and she’s not “air playing” on stage either because when she makes a mistake or something goes wrong you can hear it in the live performance. One time her shoulder rest fell off and she stopped playing for a few seconds to put it back on... and guess what? No violin playing on the speakers. Now, I’m sure they probably do real-time corrections to the audio as she’s playing live to smooth out small impurities, but even that can only do so much. She does it live. Try doing just a tiny bit of research before opening your mouth next time so you don’t look dumb lol
