Birth Vlog 2021 | Induction at 37 Weeks + Baby #1

In today's video, I am sharing our birth vlog. The plan was to capture a lot more than we did, but things took a turn this day. We unexpectedly went in for an induction at 37 weeks and had quite the labor and delivery experience. We captured what we could!

Congratulations on the beautiful baby! I see this is your 1st and you had to be induced. I've had 3 babies and the 1st 2 I too had to be induced as well. I was only 18 w/ my 1st, so I was a bit naive, so I didn't know that being induced changes the pain levels of your contractions severely. My 3rd she came on her own. The differences Between that 1 and my 1st 2 were like night and day. I had to get an epidural with my 1st 2 because of the pain but with my 3rd I didn't even Have any pain medicine. If I'd had known @ the time I don't think I'd have been so quick to get induced. It may just be me but I think doctors should be upfront about it and then give them the choice. So maybe if you have another baby on down the line, you'll be lucky enough to not have to be induced so it'll make things much easier on you. Congrats again!!!

I hope I won’t have to again! Would love to go into labor naturally. That is crazy that the pain is much worse with induction…I have never really heard that!
