Yes definitely so glad they have a light-medium olive 🫒 undertone and a medium olive 🫒 undertone bc that’s my perfect shade

I got the F2 olive and it's def my summer shade. I will get the F1 to try for winter, since F2 olive is the lightest olive. I'm 35 and this is the FIRST time I haven't had to mix in blue/white, mix 2 shades or use a powder/bronzer to make it work. I've only been using it for 2 weeks and I'm in love.

Hopefully this will be available on Beauty Bay soon for us European folks. We seem to have very similar skin types and it looks and wears so good on you. Also finally a shade that I could probably wear on its own without having to add blue mixer. I do like the focus on skin hydration with base products if they don't contain actives. I have my skincare for that.

I am a huge fan of moving towards the skin focused foundations, the only thing I struggle with is finding a good powder to not look like a grease ball by the end of the day, I have pretty normal skin, but I find some of these serum foundations or skin tints can become really dewy throughout the day, even on my normal skin 😅 also yay for Halsey being so relatable, glad we able to find celeberties with illnesses, makes them so much more human. I have endometriosis which Halsey also battles with. ❤

Oooh I've been so curious about this one bc of the olive shades! Looks so good on you. I think it might work well for me too, since the Kosas foundation in 100 was too light for me. I'm also a concealer only type gal so you have me super intrigued now! Your olive friendly content lately has been so GOOD! Also, can confirm the lighting is better :-)

I would suggest FI neutral on you! Thats what i got and i live it, i almost want to buy the 9be you got (olive) and fix it with my F1 and it will be PERFECTION

I was thinking the same since the F2 Olive is great for my summer shade, but will be too dark in winter and it's the lightest shade😢. I hope she extends the shade range a bit or releases a fuller coverage so I can mix some white in it for winter.

So I tried this one and it was a little too dark for me. Added some white pigment and it was perfect. I wish they made a pale olive. Or at least an F1 Olive. I can also surprisingly wear F2 Cool, though it matches more my face than neck since I have rosacea and am always red. F1 Neutral was just too light for me.

After coming across fair olive social media over the past few days, I actually started looking through my stash today and realized I have a sample of green corrector. I just blended a little bit into Wet N Wild's Tinted Hydrator in Fair, which I was a pretty good match once blended out. Looking at it alone on my hand it suddenly seemed way off lol, then I mixed in the green corrector... it disappeared into my hand. I was skeptical honestly, so I'm glad I took a chance and got the About Face foundation on sale yesterday, just gotta wait for it to arrive now. But I'm probably going to get the Kryolan Mint shade adjustor someone recommended on TikTok. I feel like I need blue, too, but I also heard purple corrector can work, too, especially for those of us that tend to like "gray" foundations.

Ooh hope you end up loving the about face foundation! I’ve never heard of the krylon mint shade adjuster but it looks great. I have the elf correctors in green and blue that are nice to mix in and affordable, although there isn’t a ton of product per tube. Thanks for watching! 💕

@lindseymunette yes! I have used the elf color correctors for shade adjusting too! LA Girl color correctors are affordable and mix well into medium/full coverage foundations. I haven't really found a mixer that works well for light coverage/skin tints- so I just put some green on my face and the skin tint in fair neutral(like the wet and wild new skin tint or the tinted moisturizer).

So excited you reviewed this! I’ve been interested bc of the fair olive shade but since it’s fair 2 not fair 1 I was worried it’d still be too dark. Plus even tho I put in fair olive in the site it recommended fair1 neutral 😅 it may be a smidge dark but I’d say we’re similar in skin tones I’m maybe more warm olive so I’m excited to see if this will work for me! PLUS I am usually a skin tint girly so it sounds like this could be great!

I still havent tried it! Colors haven’t been available to swatch locally but from other videos I’ve seen now I think fair olive is going to be too dark :/

Totally sold out! I have been trying to buy this and ship it to Australia via shipping forwarding service but it’s just impossible! So sad. I am light olive and very cool almost grey! If anyone knows stores other than ultra that stocks this that would be great. Ulta won’t send to shipping forwarding for some reason….

I’m so happy this worked for you!! You look flawless in it. I feel pretty much the same about it as you, as well - the light olive is a touch too dark for me for the winter but overall, I’m just happy to not have to color correct the foundation with green/blue pigments and with how well it wears!

So excited they had so many olive shades! Most brands (that even have olive shades) have a light and then a medium/tan and no in between. Can’t wait to pick this up and try!

I have for The longest time tried to figure out my undertone. I have very similar hair color as you. My eyes are sky blue, with some warmth. My skin however, is very pale, looks yellow compared to my friends, who look very pink in comparison. I have tried cool foundations, and they look PINK on me, looks very bad and off😅 Neutral foundation either looks orange, or pink, or sometimes grey. It depends on The brand, and saturation. Warm foundation work, I use Dior forever skin glow 1W, and I feel most like «being in my own skin» with this one on. But it does oxidize a bit during The day, and can look a tiny bit yellow/warm, not much tough. How did you find out you were olive? My skin look similar to yours, Only a tiny bit more yellow.

So helpful! I think I'm gonna try this. I'm a similar paleness to you, but nuetral/cool best as I can tell. The F2 level looks only barely too dark as you said, is it more noticeable in person or would you step down a shade?

I got the shade f1 and it works better on its own than just f2 I would say, but I’ve been mixing them for the best match

Hi Lindsey. This foundation looks very interesting, and a great price point too!! I think I need to get a few samples of this. It looks beautiful on you! What would you say your fave foundation(s) is now since there is no more Bite Beauty ? (I loved that one also) I think you love the Kosas foundation , and it sounds like this could be a pretty good competitor. How does this one compare to that? I made a comment a few videos ago-yes you did fantastic, the lighting looks so much better! I usually view on mobile (iPhone), not sure how helpful that is. This foundation looks *amazing* btw. I have been using Haus Labs concealer in 04 as a foundation lately due to the undertone match…this is a less expensive option hopefully!
