She was actually mocked in idol competition or America's got talent. They said she couldn't do it, and there was no interest for this music. I figured that out many years later. This song was the first I heard from Lindsey Stirling back when she was on her first album, and I instantly liked it. Listened to all her albums, and even saw her live. You go girl!

I know this is a year old comment but as someone who has landed in the hospital multiple times from what they thought was cardiac arrest and ended up extreme anxiety and panic episodes I can relate on a deep level. I also like metal bc it calms my depression but it’s something I keep hidden as most people I know are full blown Christians and would disapprove. Anxiety and panic disorder is so difficult to go through especially when the people around you don’t understand. Good taste in music btw

+Kio Kubo yes, but a book is doable, it would take too many people to adapt it into an anime, and a movie is good, but you might want to know more, and it would take too much time, much like the anime, although it would also take a place to put it, and KZbin may not work, a book can be short or long, and it can fully allow the creator to convey his vision, and put all of the lore he wants, also it can be sold online, or available for free, and you wouldn't have to go through all of the trouble, except maybe copywriter, but you would have to go through that either way, and it's proven that it's his, because he made the guardians thing, so he can take anyone to court who steals it... Sorry I'm weird, but it's the same thing, trust me.

Not a single shot ... at least two. 1) backboard shadow is shot separately 2) Lindsay dancing with the violin without sound (no sound of feet hitting floor and shadow on backboard does not match the dance, eh? 3) sound is dubbed on. Percussion, at least, is mixed in ... likely all of audio is done in studio. She could have been playing the scales during the dancing and we wouldn't know it. Good video ... but not magic "one take". Likely she spent a couple serious days putting this together. Enjoy it for what it is.

bill65761 No dude, I meant the dancing and the moves was all one take. There is very few splices. I know this wasn't all one shot lol!! I meant that the splices are very far in-between, like 30-45 seconds. Hard to do dancing like that and have it timed perfectly for that long to match what you did in a different take of the same move. ESPECIALLY when you have to change up the dance and then go back to blending them perfectly while still in synch. "No mistakes or the entire thing has to be redone." That's what I meant.

I hope one day to go to one of her shows and she her play in person. Well they were right to do it, she is insanely talented, but her violin playing does suffer from dancing while playing. And that was why they rejected her. She had to perform live, and if half of the act is subpar because of the other act it ends up looking abit wonky. It sounds amazing in her music videoes since it's playback.
