Dean and Jewel showing many different movements. Notable also by showing Dean Collins doing steps from his Shim Sham. In the Soundie Glen Gray and The House Loma Orchestra (1942) Dean Collins and Jewel McGowan acted using mirrors to produce the illusion of multiple dancers. Unfortunately, when using this trick, the couple of the foreground (which is the first reflection) appears inverted.
We have selected all the scenes where dance appears and we have corrected the inverted ones, to be able to better study the steps of the couple. The couple of the foreground now has the right orientation.
The 720P version in which we have based had 29.97fps, but they were not real. The duplicate frames have been removed. In this way, 24 frames per second have been obtained, equivalent to film framework.
Then 60 frames have been generated by second actual by interpolation by IA. This produces a more fluid movement and allows you to better examine the steps of the dancers.
The footage has been reiscaled at a resolution of 1920x1080 by techniques of IA, increasing detail and general sharpness.
The vignette that darkened the corners in the original footage has been eliminated.
Improvements in dynamic range, brightness and contrast.
