It'd be great if you could do a video on cleaning or out right replacing the footswitches. I can't replace my Helix with a new one any more but 2 of the footswitches are bugging out and the tap tempo switch is starting to show signs of its demise so I would really appreciate it if I could see a video on it. Thank you very much.

Great video! Did you see a fuse in there somewhere? My Helix just died on me after 6 years of serving me well.

There are 4 wires mentioned in this video. One of them does just that. It seems the signal when pushing down. Try the controls test in this video. It will show you in red what does not work.

@@GlenHyden Hello Glenn, thanks for your video how to disassemble. My preset button do also not work anymore when pushing down. Therefore I can not access into menu for control test UI function. 🤔

try sliding a thin guitar pick underneath the preset wheel/button and just apply a little bit of inward and upward pressure and it should pop back out. try some at different thicknesses until it works. that's what I did, and it was surprisingly easy

Hi thanks for the video..all the upper switch foot FS 1 To FS 6 on my helix floor don't work. Sometimes when I turn them on they work and switch for about 5 minutes but after that they don't switch ... Only with the preset knob... Can you please help me?

Run the test shown in the video. If it passes fs1 - 6 then it's software. If it fails then it goes back to line6.

Hi, I have a helix floor with this problem: it loses the input signal, the signal goes in fits and starts, the symbol on the input display flashes red, then it starts working again for a while, sometimes it works for hours and then repeats the problem. Lately it also crashes, meaning the large display turns off and all the small displays start flashing. What could it be? I was thinking about the power supply, thanks for any response

Sounds like a bug crash. What version? Maybe back date the version.

Do you know how to fix the plastic part of the scribble strip. The lcd looks fine but the plastic over it is bent in. Im thinking of trying to take the top half of the chassis off and bend the plastic back into place. Dont know how to do that tho

Can anyone tell if the power supply has a fuse? There was a short circuit on stage. Now it doesn't work anymore

Hi Glen, i would like to know if you ever heard that helix stuck on ui mcu firmware updating screen. My LT now has occur that screen stuck thing, i have search & read some threads on line6 community and 2 of the thread says that maybe a cable loose or board displacement, do you have any idea about that? Solder it back on. One of the four leads has been disconnected.
