YAAASSSS. I am so happy to finally be able to upload something. I wrote these lyrics so long ago and never finished them.
I heard Line (everlastinggoals) cover this song in Japanese and I had to ask her to cover it in English for me! She's such a wonderful len and rin/singer ;w; ) /
Some of the lyrics I have to say aren't my own (And/orI changed them a bit), I had asked Enn Sings to use a few lines from her dub!

For those who are really confused on what's actually going on, I recommend the novel adaptation . It's much more detailed and the story is really beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. BTW, the angel ( Kaito ) who shot Miku isn't Rin's fiancé ( Angels aren't allowed to love even with their own kind ) , but her mentor and partner instead, who is sort of in love with Rin. So when he found out that Rin had fallen just for a mere human girl ( Angels considered humans as lower beings compared to themselves ), he was furious and in a feat of rage, killed Miku.

So basically what i got from this story is that Rin, an angel, falls in love with Miku, a regular human being. Since Rin knows that love between a human and an angel is a sin, she reincarnated as a male human being for the price of losing her precious wings. Later on, Miku falls in love with Len and they do all kinds of sexy stuff~ (also the fact that Len has such mournful eyes is proof that he is actually Rin) Then suddenly Rin's "supposed" lover comes in and kills Miku cause she either sinned with Rin or because she betrayed her by falling in love with another man. idk XD. So Len/Rin dies for Miku and leaves her a black feather so she has something to remember them by.

That's actually quite accurate, but Rin never dies/never gets reincarnated. What happens is (in the era in the song) homosexual love is forbidden (it's the Victorian era I'm pretty sure everyone knows that) so Miku rejects Rin so when Rin talks about bowing to the demon king, she's being serious she bowed to him and cut of her wings so he would turn her into a boy so Miku wouldn't reject her, but everything else is on point 👌

Ok, so I know that I'm commenting on a 2 year old video but... 1. In the novel, angels do NOT have a specific gender. Not to mention that in there, Rin is said to be both feminine and masculine. 2. The place (Country) where Miku lived has black as a sacred color (or like royal color. I forgot). No, it does NOT have anything to do with impurity and what not, but Rin did commented that it's very contradicting to what they (I'm saying they because again, referring to number 1.) as angels have been taught. 3. The apples actually do hold significance in the story. I forgot what's it about, but it's along the lines that apples are a sacred fruit? So I guess by Rin making a deal with the devil their purity has been tainted?? Not to mention that Rin's said to be great at cultivating apples in heaven, so yeah. 4. KAITO is not in love with Rin or anything like that. He was Rin's previous partner and he was sent to kill Miku so Rin will come back to heaven. Okay sure, KAITO loved Rin, but it's more of a sibling/friend type of love more than anything. 5. The forbidden thing that's mentioned here is that, Angels are NOT supposed to even interact with humans. So Rin falling in love with Miku is like a huge no-no. It's NOT ABOUT THE SAME GENDER ROMANCE AND WHAT NOT (again, referring to number 1) 😂 On another note, DAMNNN THAT LOW NOTE. I DIG IT. (And I'm sorry for the capslock emphasis. 1:28 It took me a while to realise this but here you go, I think at this time, Miku pushed Rin away because she tried to kiss her. Miku has shown that she didn't mean to push her, but Rin sees this as Miku not accepting her feelings back, so she ran away while Miku was distracted from what she just did and didn't know what to say to her. Both were definitely hurt by eachother's actions. That's why Rin made the decision to turn herself into a human boy named Len, for Miku to fall in love with and could have stayed in love if only God didn't find out about Miku and got Kaito to kill her for loving an angel. (Part of it is that Kaito was angry that Miku is the reason that Rin is gone, and they were close)

Hey, I personally can't feel bad for either character here, mainly for the simple fact the the victim is pretty much the husband. Think about it, the Angel goes and falls for a recently married human girl, then the Angel makes a move on her, but the girl goes and rejects her whatever the reason may be. So thats pretty bad, but I feel like thats fine, nothing to bad happened, but the Rin takes it WAY too far. She goes and makes a deal with the devil to become a male human to try and seduce the wife! the wife that originally said, "No, I don't want to be with you". AND IT WORKS! The wife falls in love for this human boy, and the angel TECHNICALLY has her lover, but i just can't feel bad, the angel shows she's a disgusting home wrecker, and the bride shows that the one she married apparently doesn't matter much. THE VICITM IS THE BRIDES HUSBAND. I sincerely can't feel bad for either character, and I wanted to write all this because I think that it makes sense that you can relate to the angel in SOME way. I can see that and respect that, but I'd just like to say, this angel is the last character I feel like you should be relating to. (and on a side note, it doesn't make sense that you'd relate to the angel because of the idea of forbidden love by someone else's god. think about it, to you, its someone else's god, to her its pretty much a parental figure if you think about it, theres a difference between someone else's belief and a divine being that you know for a fact created you. make sense? sorry for rambling)

Amazing song. but let me see if i got the story correct. Lost angel falls in love with human girl wearing black who is getting married so the angel uses magic which is the apple I suppose to turn into a human boy leaving behind her, the angels own fiance. They meet again the angel now a boy on the girl in blacks wedding day, and run away together. Angels old fiance finds the girl who took his love away from him, and shoots her. Then as the girl in black lay dying, the boy comes in, and kills himself to revive his love, and as he dies it is revealed that it was the lost angel she met long ago. Did I get it??? just wondering if i missed anything important like whats up with the diffrent colored apples??? im guessing some kind of weird magic. edit: wait i think the apples are actually symbols of love for each other. the angel loved her in the beginning, but it wasn't returned which is when the angel used a gun??? to change her into a human boy... yep that makes a whole lot more sense. Hahaha Edit Again: there is a reply under my comment that gives a much better explanation. Thanks Shikaieru Riyuzen for a very detailed explanation of the song. Hahaha

I don't know if the apple really represents virginity. I'm still thinking it's there feeling for each other, and the dark apple means the angel had been somewhat corrupted for doing what she did. Also the wings, you say she gave up one at a time, but at 3:58 it shows she had lost both wings while she was still together with the girl in black. The plot thickens. Hahaha

The two start a romantic relationship, even though love between and angel and a human is forbidden. Miku has fallen so much in love with Rin that she forgets that she's engaged. Rin finds out, and flees Miku. Not wanting to loose Miku, Rin makes a deal with the devil, who agrees, as long as Rin gives up her life as an angel and cuts off her wings. (So in short, if the plan fails or people find out, the devil will take Rin's life) Meanwhile, on Miku's wedding day, she sees a handsome boy (Len) and falls immediately in love with him. She calls off the wedding and her fiancee and begins a relationship with Len. They are about to get married when Kaito(?), who's an angel, shows up and if furious with Miku because he used to love Rin before she fell onto Earth, and he blames Miku for Rin's disappearance and for having a relationship with Rin, so he shoots her. Len finds Miku, who's almost dead. He cries and blames himself for her pain, and decides to sacrifice his own life to save hers. It is then shown that Len is actually Rin, (the devil changed her into boy form so she could be with Miku) but because of her deal with the devil, the two only get a slight exchange before Rin/Len dies. Miku cries for her loss and wishes that they could meet again. Doesn't explain about the apples tho... XD Well kinda ... butt not really.

So basically, Rin (The angel) fell in love with Miku (The girl in black); but since love between humans and angels is forbidden,Rin yearns to find a way for them to be together. Rin kissed Miku, disappeared, and made a deal with the devil to turn her into a boy. The boy after the first chorus is Rin (Aka boy) and Miku falls in love with him. The man who shoots Miku is "god" in this universe. Since the angel had made one deal with the devil (Turn herself into a boy) and took one of her wings off, she used her other wing as a deal to bring Miku back to life. Him holding hands with her at the end when it says to subscribe is just giving off the "ideal" relationship in this universe. Hope this helps!

I always thought it was about a lost angel and a girl in black who fell in love but the world said it wasn't right for girls and girls to love each other and angels and humans to love each other so the girl in black couldn't be with the lost angel because that is what she was taught. So the angel runs away and gives up her wings to become a boy. And when the girl in black saw the boy at the church she had a hunch it was the lost angel but didn't really acknowledge the fact so that they could finally be together. They had fun for a while signifying their love and devotion to each with two flowers rings until the angel guy with purple hair found out about what happened with them and he had loved the lost angel so he shot the girl in black for revenge. When the lost angel came back he/she was devastated and gave up his/her life to save the girl in black from death and hell, in turn disappearing. But just before she turned back into her female self and confessed her love while leaving a single feather as a farewell. So in the end the girl in black knows she will never love another and she never stopped mourning the death of her lover and that they will always love each other and wait until the next time they meet whenever and wherever that may be. At least that's how I interpreted it.

Could this be towards Christianities view of homosexuality/Transgender? I myself am not very religious nor is my family but some people have been brought up in religious homes and taught that it is forbidden to love someone of the same gender also her changing genders/becoming unpure happen at the same time the angel at the end could be perhaps societies old view of homosexuality/transgender people or perhaps the angels father due to it being a male and reminiscing about old times. (I know the story isn't exactly hinting this but i could see some connections :D)
